As a single mom buying my son his first car I was confused and scared. That all changed as soon as I walked into Maroone Honda of Hollywood. I came to Hollywood Honda because of the very attractive quote I got from their Internet Department. I exchanged a few emails and phone calls with Debra Canter – I did not want any “surprises” at the dealer quote I got from their Internet Department. I exchanged a few emails and phone calls with Debra Canter – I did not want any “surprises” at the dealership - I double checked what fees were included, confirmed that it was correct model, transmission, etc – and made an appointment. Dorina from the Internet Dept, was waiting for me by entrance. The car was at the door, ready for test drive. When it came to the paperwork – Debra delivered every bit promised. I got $$$ below invoice – and that including the destination fee – and additional promotional discount on top of that. There were no suddenly added fees; the numbers were dollar for dollar as quoted. Also, I did not have any issues with financing b/c my credit was OK. (Why am I emphasizing that? Because a day before I went to Maroone Honda of Miami – and it turned out that those people “conveniently” left out $770 destination fee from my quote. Well, and I left Maroone Honda of Miami) So, to conclude, Hollywood Honda honored their quote – they earned my business. This is actually my second purchase from Hollywood Honda and I will be happy to come back next time More

I went to this car dealer because it was listed at the preferred car dealer to my bank (Bank of America). Because that the end of the month, the sales manager and the finance chief of staff tried to push preferred car dealer to my bank (Bank of America). Because that the end of the month, the sales manager and the finance chief of staff tried to push the sale and didn't want to go with my bank and wanted pull my credit to get my re-approved to another financial institution. I told them my bank offered me a lower rate than enybody else and they have to follow the process (submit my application) to get the money from them. They refused and wanted me to sign a paper for them to pull my credit and get me approved through their finacial institution and get the sale before the month. I was told by TASSY (Used care Sale manager) and FRANK (Finance chief) if don't go and get a check from the bank today (Monday, January 30th, I bought the car on January 27th and have signed all the papers)I have to leave the car or THEY WILL CALL THE POLICE ON ME. When I called Bank of America, they told me I don't to come to any of their branch to get any check from them. They told me the car dealer knows the process and even it is "the end of the month" they have to follow the process. I have decided to cancel the sale ntil the General Manager (Deborah) intervened and submit my application to Bank of America. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAR DEALER. THEY ARE VERY DISHONEST. More

Went to Maroone Honda because they had a 2007 Toyota Highlander that my wife was interested in. Maroone was actually recommended to us by Bank of America because they are a "preferred franchised dealer. Highlander that my wife was interested in. The window sticker said $14,994.00 The inventory ad on the dealership's website said the car was offfered at $ 15,594.00 So they knocked $ 600.00 off. The vehicle drove well. After the test drive we were shown into the salesman's office (Jimmy) where he gave us a printout of the costs of the vehicle. He knocked the price down to $ 14,594 and added a $ 600.00 "dealer fee" which of course was not previously disclosed. He proceed to tell us that some dealerships add $ 1,200.00 to the purchase price as dealer fees. WE TOLD HIM THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE. We were introduced to the sales manager. We left the dealership without concluding a deal finding it better to sleep over it. I called the following morning and and asked for Jimmy.I was given the sales manager. I told him I was willing pay $14,000 including the dealer fee and that if he did not accept the offer we would not need to continue with the sale. He answered that I would have to pay sales taxes and registration fees to which I told him, I understodd this as long as he understood that I was paying his dealership $14,000 and no more. The sales manager (TASSY) told me to fax the credit application and that we were to arrive at the dealerhip no latter than 2:30 P.M. My wife and I arrived there and were made to wait until the finance guy could go over the numbers. Guess what? The sales manger reneged on our agreement and tried to charge $ 595.95 in dealer fees and would not even speak to us. Instead he had the financae guy tell us he could not do the deal without the dealer fee. The sales guy (JIMMY) pretended to be upset at the sales manager. They did not stop us from leaving. We wasted two round trips and over 80 miles of gasoline TOTALLY DISHONEST. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER. More

All state pay for all car rental and enterprise wave the damage insurance. I am so happy and I had a great experience in this situation.
