The first day I brought it home, the key broke from a 3 feet distance. I called to ask if they can fix it for free since it was apparently already broken when given to me. They should have covered it no questions asked, especially since they only provided me 1 key to begin with. The person on the phone said that they would cover it and it should take 1 to 1.5 hours long to do so. I arrived and they said they had no records of someone stating they would cover the cost and that it would take 3 hours. We ended up getting a lecture from the general manager, even though it was not our fault. Cars usually come with 2 keys, and a 182-inspection should include an inspection on the integrity of the key. In addition, we get a call from the SAME dealership we bought the car from to ask if we would like to sell the car since they saw we booked an appointment with their services team. It's obvious that the sales department outgoing, sales department ingoing, and service department do not communicate with each other. At the very least, they do not share records of customers with one another. Also, I did not work with Daniel Martin so ignore my rating on that person. More

While I am enjoying the vehicle that I purchased, I did not enjoy my experience at the dealership. Numerous times I was kept waiting by the salesman as he was trying to work multiple deals simultaneously. not enjoy my experience at the dealership. Numerous times I was kept waiting by the salesman as he was trying to work multiple deals simultaneously. This was frustrating. The overall feeling was that when I was being helped, everything was rushed. The salesman was not that friendly and the finance guy was up to the point, and when we signed the final paperwork, his demeanor changed in seconds and we were ushered out of his office before we even set the pen back down on the desk. While I understand that they were somewhat busy, I did not appreciate the service received overall and would not recommend that my family or friends purchase a vehicle from this dealership. When they presented the car after everything was said and done it was dusk and lighting was not that great. The exterior looked great but the interior of the vehicle was still somewhat dirty. Coffee stains on the console, dirt/lint in the seams of the seats, smear marks all over the dash and infotainment screen. A large stain was left behind in the cargo area etc. Additionally, at the end of the transaction, the salesman try to push me to give the dealership a high rating. When I pay $32k for a car, I expect a lot better service. Extremely disappointed in Autonation Honda of Fremont. More
I tried purchasing a used car. let down from start to finish. I was told car was ready to test drive, drove an hour to dealership wasnt ready. I was told to return 2 days later, car was not in position to be sold, but had been told is passed all inspections, to then just say too many things to fix and canceled my deposit. with no apology no urge to rectify the issue.
