Our experience with Jerry Polick and SanTan Honda was the most pleasant experience I have ever had buying a car. Buying a car can be a horrible experience and everyone we dealt with at SanTan Honda were great from the reciptionist, the finance people and especially Jerry. We would recommend Jerry to anyone who would want a Honda car without hesitation. He is a wonderful sales person and does not apply any pressure whatsoever. Not your typical car sales person. There should be more salesmen like Jerry. We haven't dealt with the service department yet but I can only imigine it to be a pleasant experience. Barbara Laws More
My first visit to Honda Cars of Mesa was shortly after they opened the very first dealership in the Mesa area...that was ..BC..before computers..(joke) However, I have been going to the same dealership they opened the very first dealership in the Mesa area...that was ..BC..before computers..(joke) However, I have been going to the same dealership for many years. They are friendly and someone is always there to help. Service has always taken care of any warranty work or a couple of times minor repairs. The body shop repainted an older 1986 Honda CRX after a hail storm did damage ... that was 10 years ago and I still have the CRX with 179,000 miles on it..drive it every day. I/we have also both leased and/or purchased our 4th CRV from Jerry Polick. He is the guy that has been there since about 1985 when I purchased my first CRV. Rather laid back and casual .. no pressure from this salesman. Bud Thurston has helped our friends who wanted to buy an Acura. He (Bud) has the Acura of Tempe dealership also. We have recommended a lot of friends and work associates to Jerry and have never lost a friend. We hear back that they were treated with respect and walked away satisfied with their 'deal'.. Additionally, they are not too flexible with their pricing, which by any standard is excessively high. That said, they seem pretty open to discussing past history of vehicles and considering repairing any visible issues prior to selling. More
I went in to buy a car there were several employees just sitting in a corner talking and ne of them came to see what I was looking for. I found a car and when it came to trying to get a good deal they did n sitting in a corner talking and ne of them came to see what I was looking for. I found a car and when it came to trying to get a good deal they did not want to budge much on there price down to the pennies. I decided I could deal with the price as long as they fix all the chips and blemishes in the paint and fill up the gas tank. I went to get the paint job touched up and I bought the warranty with an alarm system. It took them about 9 hours before they called me back saying the car was ready even though I had an appointment. When I went to pick up the car the touch ups were horrible they only touched up two spots that I could see and the paint is brighter than my car. They left a huge crackled paint spot in the bumper and some other minor blemishes and said the dealership did not specify what to do we cannot do anything unless I bring them a better We Owe. I went to the dealership and they said I don't know what was supposed to be done and they don't want to do anything about that. I went home to talk with my husband he called them and got ahold of the guy that sold us the car and he said he would look into it and have the manager call back which never happened and we were told the director would call us back which also never happened. The next day I tried using my second pair of keys and the alarm system kept going off and I could not start the car. I also have problems occasionally with my original set of keys where I cannot start my car I have to keep pressing the unlock button and jiggle the key in the egnition. This is the worst service I have ever had. I love my car but I will never buy from Honda Cars of Mesa Ever again! More
At least I like this dealership better than the one I bought my car at: Right Honda. I disagree with the last review. I was assigned to Bill Levitt too. Although he was somewhat knowledgeable about the cars he didn't know as much as I did. Anyways, what I didn't like was the test drive. He actually verbalized it to not go around the block more than once and had a fake grin saying it's just the policy. Amazing how much Japanese automaker dealerships can get away with... Also he wasn't fond of me testing the engine acceleration... so how is it that I'm supposed to buy a car I haven't tested fully? My best advise is to avoid Right Honda at all costs, consider this dealership, and just talk to customers waiting for service at the other dealerships and ask them how was their experience. More
The WORST Honda dealership in AZ! I had the unfortunate experience of encountering sales person Jon Sellers, a service advisor, the service manager, and the sales manager all during my one and only post- experience of encountering sales person Jon Sellers, a service advisor, the service manager, and the sales manager all during my one and only post-sales visit to this throughly dishonest dealership, just a few weeks after taking delivery of my new Accord. The service (or lack thereof) was so poor that I had no recourse but to file a complaint with Honda USA. I have never returned to Honda Cars of Meas since, and I'm in the presently in the process of leasing another new Accord EX-V6 elsewhere... AVOID !!!! More
