I have a 2020 Honda Pilot, and I just hit 60k miles. I called to see the 60k mile package cost (primarily interested in Transmission, Rear Differential, and Transfer case). It was outrageous. Close to 3 I called to see the 60k mile package cost (primarily interested in Transmission, Rear Differential, and Transfer case). It was outrageous. Close to 3k for the transmission - only. I’m a DIY owner and can handle most items independently. I looked up the fluids needed and new crush washers. I went into Honda 385 to get the parts, even though I had already shopped through other Honda dealerships online and Amazon. The total should be no more than $120 with tax. Somehow they came up with FLUID ONLY $277!!! This is 7 quarts. WHAT!! When asked about the crush washers, I was told their mechanics reuse them. They don’t typically use or sell new crush washers. What? Are you kidding me? I walked out and purchased on Amazon for $115 (everything needed for all three services) w/ tax, be here tomorrow, Guaranteed OEM product. I was trying to buy local and give back to my local community. However, I’m not going to get robbed by 385. I should have checked with Wolfchase Honda. Those guys tend to act more like a legit Honda dealership. I’ve had several very poor experiences at 385. I literally will never step foot in there again. More
