I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation on my 2017 Pilot. This is the 4th Honda I have purchased at this dealership in the last 16 years. I arrived a few minutes early, checked in at th on my 2017 Pilot. This is the 4th Honda I have purchased at this dealership in the last 16 years. I arrived a few minutes early, checked in at the service desk, and sat down in the lounge area to read a book. 2 hours and 20 minutes later, I became alarmed at the delay. No one from Service had spoken to me the entire time. I was told that my car was #3 in line, so it wouldn’t be long. I asked how long is “long” and was told my car was third to go into a service bay, so it should be completed in about another hour.. I told the service person that I wanted to speak to the service manager ASAP. The manager arrived and began to speak to me in front of several of his staff. I told him that what I had to say should be said in his office with the door closed. When alone in his office, I clearly voiced my complaint that 3 1/2 hours for an oil change is unacceptable and that no one at the dealership had ever informed me of the delay. The manager's response was that he was only 5 months in his position, was cleaning up a mess, and was short of mechanics. I replied that leaving a customer completely uninformed in the waiting area for 2 1/2 hours was a very poor way to run a business. The manager said that he has waited 2 hours in restaurants. I found that to be such a pitiful statement that I told him to bring my car to the front and give me the keys. I added that I would not be back for any service and certainly would not buy another vehicle from Autonation. If they have so little consideration for their customers, I will no longer be one. More
All the people that work at Honda 385 that I spoke with were very nice and professional. Josh Dorsey was my salesman and he was awesome!! Staff is friendly, caring and great customer service. It’s clean and offers beverages and snacks while you wait. Doug Arnold was very informative and thorough of the needs of my car.
