A warranty repair (AC compressor shaft leak) had been scheduled 4 weeks in advance. Paperwork received stated that the repair would likely take 2-3 hours. Upon arrival, we were told that the inspection/ scheduled 4 weeks in advance. Paperwork received stated that the repair would likely take 2-3 hours. Upon arrival, we were told that the inspection/repair would not be able to be completed due to contamination of their AC machine, but a technician was coming the next day to fix it. We needed an oil and filter change anyway, thus agreed to leave the car. Had to call the dealership at 1p the next day to get a status. Was told car would be ready at 5pm. Upon arrival, the AC work had not been done and we were charged over $300 for the oil & filter change, cabin filter replacement, and a TPMS reset (which took 30 seconds) - could have gone to Jiffy Lube and paid 1/3 of that. Very frustrated that the one thing we scheduled to have done at the dealership was not completed and parts that would have been needed were not on hand (told that IF the warranty item was found to be defective they would have to order). Now, my wife and I have to reschedule again, which is a huge inconvenience when you have working parents and an active family of teenagers and meanwhile we are without AC in the car during the hottest part of the year. Not happy at all. More
