Took my F150 to Autonation Ford Wolfchase because of a recall. I was told the recall fix can problems with the trucks PCM and there was nothing they could do. Therefore, the recall is still in play. Waiti recall. I was told the recall fix can problems with the trucks PCM and there was nothing they could do. Therefore, the recall is still in play. Waiting to see what Ford will do to fix the recall. Had the service department change the oil, rotate and balance the tires. More
I received a recall notice for my vehicle & brought it in on June 14 for oil change & etc. I showed the recall letter to Larry & he said the parts for this recall wouldn’t be in until 2025. Responding to a Ford recall, I scheduled an appointment roughly two months in advance (earliest they could see me). When I dropped the Mustang (which I purchased from them in 2021) I mentioned the "Check E roughly two months in advance (earliest they could see me). When I dropped the Mustang (which I purchased from them in 2021) I mentioned the "Check Engine Light" was illuminated. Ed told me the appointment was for the recall and it would take longer to do a diagnostic on the vehicle. I told him to go ahead and do the recall work and I had already gone to O'Reilly Auto Parts and was told the after their check the issue was minor. He told me it was a two day turnaround and I could check with him for status updates. He responded to the first inquiry two days later, but as the calendar moved forward he stopped communicating. A week later I had had enough and dropped by in person to get a status update. He told me there were 41 cars in front of me, because they had not even done the recall work, but were waiting to do the check engine light diagnostic. He added it could be another two weeks before the work was completed. I told him it was a 5 minute test, based on my visit to O'Reilly. He told me to wait a minute and then went out on the floor, returning a few minutes later with a stack of work orders in his hand. He said "these are the cars ahead of you." I told him it was ridiculous that they hadn't done the recall work and were delayed by a diagnostic procedure that could be handled in minutes. He told me, "It's obvious I cannot satisfy you as a customer, so why don't I just give you your keys and you can go to another Ford dealership." I said, "Let's do that." He left to get the car and I stated to the others there, "I have a hard time believing you still have customers." To wit one of the service counter workers responded, "I can't believe there are still customers like you." Wow. I did return to O'Reilly, had the diagnostic done once more and had the necessary part in less than 10 minutes. I sent the information to an independent auto mechanic who agreed to do the work as it was a simple procedure. I've purchased not one; not two; but three vehicles from Autonation Ford Wolfchase. Purchasing vehicles is never a problem and the staff professional. Getting them serviced - even when it is a Ford factory recall is a completely different matter. More

There were some issues in the system where the order hadn’t gone through correctly. Few weeks went by. The Parts team jumped on it, and came up with a solution that got me the product that day. Appreciate the support and commitment to excellence. Thanks guys. More
