The only thing that raised concern was that I was told I needed both rear and front brakes replaced. My rear brakes were replaced a year ago and above 4". In the past a service that was not needed has never needed both rear and front brakes replaced. My rear brakes were replaced a year ago and above 4". If it wasn't for my stepdad being a car mechanic (geographically 2 hours away), I would been really concerned since they were replaced a year ago. Anything under 4", it should be considered. More

regarding the service dept. Their were no delays at the time of my appointment. The service department set up a technician to discuss my issues and acted on the issues immedia Their were no delays at the time of my appointment. The service department set up a technician to discuss my issues and acted on the issues immediately. The technician after the review and test drive of my vehicle discussed the results with the service manager and decided on the best options going forward. The option going forward required Ford Service to determine the next course of action. That result was a failure, Ford refused the authorization to resolve my issue. The service department has no recourse to resolve my issue. MY statement: Do not purchase a Ford Explorer 2022 SUV Platinum. More
