Warranty job, took much longer than it should have to make sure the coverage would go through, lousy explanation as far as how the costs broke down - pretty amateur effort for a dealership I used to like make sure the coverage would go through, lousy explanation as far as how the costs broke down - pretty amateur effort for a dealership I used to like More

Went in for the first oil change and tire rotation on my new Explorer. All of the work was completed, and was done in less time than expected. I used my FordPass points to pay for the service. When you buy new Explorer. All of the work was completed, and was done in less time than expected. I used my FordPass points to pay for the service. When you buy a new Ford you get 42,000 points. According to Ford's site (https://www.ford.com/support/how-tos/fordpass/fordpass-rewards/how-many-fordpass-rewards-points-do-i-get-per-dollar/), it should be 11,000 points for an oil change and rotation, and the 42,000 should cover the first 3 oil changes. When I looked at my points activity, there were 769 added for the service and 16,626 deducted. So, the oil change that should have taken 11,000 points cost me a net of 15,857 points. We've purchased or leased 7 new vehicles from this dealership in the last 9 years. Really starting to look like loyalty doesn't pay. More
