My service advisor, Morgan Buteyn was very helpful and nice when I took my Edge in for the service recall. She went above and beyond her duties. Instead of waiting for parts Dept to get back to her, she w nice when I took my Edge in for the service recall. She went above and beyond her duties. I was interested in a 2021 Ford Ranger. The pro-forma sheet quoted 6.9% which I objected that it was way to high. The sale woman quoted that it used a credit score of 600 just for estimation and that du sheet quoted 6.9% which I objected that it was way to high. The sale woman quoted that it used a credit score of 600 just for estimation and that during the signing of the actual loan docs, better rate will be found given that my credit score is near 850. In the "finance room," the "finance guy" tried to pull a fast one by using 6.9% without an attempt to find a better rate. He came up with 3.9% which I went with it. After the purchase, I found that Ford Credit was offering 1.9% which he did not offer. The 3.9% was with Capital One Auto Finance. I am sure the dealership is getting a kickback. This was on 5/31/2021. It's 6/1/2021 and I am now talking with Navy Federal Credit Union for a refi at below 2.0%. 6/2/2021 update: In defense of the "finance manager" not offering me a loan through Ford Credit, I remember him telling me Ford Credit does not offer a 36-month loan (only 48 or above). This is the reason he went with Capital One Auto Finance. This struck me as strange, but why would I think anybody would lie. Turns out Ford Credit does offer 36-month loan at a much lower rate than 3.9% offered by Capital One. * Shame on me for not doing my due diligence before walking into a dealership. * Shame on AutoNation company as a whole, and especially the head honcho at AutoNation Ford Valencia for allowing deceitful and unethical practices to line the pockets of employees at the expense of customers. Service department should be ashamed of themselves. Gave them my truck over a month ago and can’t get anyone to answer the phone or return my phone calls. Techs aren’t trained right.
