I purchased my vehicle from Ford Tustin. Initial sales and work done has been great, I actually had my vehicle serviced for a basic oil change 4 days prior and Daniel was amazing! Kept me in Initial sales and work done has been great, I actually had my vehicle serviced for a basic oil change 4 days prior and Daniel was amazing! Kept me informed my vehicle was in and out in less than a couple hours considering I did not have an appointment. Although after a week my battery gave out completely. Mind you my car was purchased brand new and I have only had it a year. I used the Ford roadside assistance program they offer and it took almost 4 hours for them to tow my vehicle to the service center. Once my vehicle arrived on Saturday morning at 11 am I was told no work would be done to my vehicle and that the soonest possible time it could be assessed was on Monday. When I requested a rental for the time being they let me know that was not possible. I would first have to have the car assessed. I explained my frustration and concern as to how a brand new cars battery with less than 20k miles could just die. It was met with no empathy or concern but rather an is what it is mentality. My other concern was how did my car just have a multi point inspection and oil change less than 5 days prior and then have this issue? My car was assessed on Monday and they let me know the battery failed and they replaced it. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle the service associate never once came out to help me. Another colleague came out and asked if there was anything I needed after standing at his door for over five minutes with no acknowledgement. She quickly retrieved my vehicle and in less than 5 minutes gave me all the customer service I was truly looking for. Nothing major other than the quick, "do you have any other questions or concerns or help going over the paperwork?" To which I said yes can you explain what parts were replaced and if it affected my warranty? She was so helpful just like Daniel. In the moment of crisis with a dead car battery I needed that reassurance rather than it is what it is and having Ford roadside leave me stranded for multiple hours. Not sure if I will be to this service center. It is unfortunate, but when you are in crisis you always remember who helped you and who didn't. More
