I had my F-150 truck serviced at Auto Nation Ford in Tustin. My service writer was Bob Selff. He is the best representative of a customer service individual that I have ever dealt with. Autonation Ford Tustin service department was the 4th Ford dealer I attempted to get warranty repair from on my brand new Mustang GT. Therefore, I can say with some confidence that they are hands down th Ford dealer I attempted to get warranty repair from on my brand new Mustang GT. Therefore, I can say with some confidence that they are hands down the best Ford service department between Long Beach and Irvine. Christian was my service advisor, and as others have said here, he is professional and honest. He told me it would take two days to diagnose issue, and true to his word, he called me two days later and his mechanics had even fixed the issue by then. All Ford service dealers experience a heavy volume of traffic. It’s not reasonable to expect service as quickly as one would get at a smaller repair shop, and I think one should bear that in mind. What is NOT acceptable is poor communication, overpromising, and underdelivering as was my experience at Tuttle Click Irvine, HB Ford, and Worthington. If you are in need of warranty repair I heartily recommend Autonation Ford Tustin. My A/C is blowing nice and cool now! Great work guys and gals!! More
Had the car for a week just to give me an estimate of what was wrong after an accident. They did not communicate, return calls, or do anything to assist me for a week. Then they did nothing. Close to two what was wrong after an accident. They did not communicate, return calls, or do anything to assist me for a week. Then they did nothing. Close to two weeks in, I just picked up the car with no paperwork or estimate of issues like it had never been in the shop at all. I realize staffing may have been short, but 2 weeks for an estimate they said would be a day or 2? Then nothing? Sadly, I bought the car from them. Will never, ever consider going there again for service or purchase. Suggest no one else does either. Rated 1 star because 0 was not an option. More
Service Advisor was very polite and efficient with the write up. However, it should not take almost three hours to get an oil change and tire rotation with an appointment. This seems to be the standard write up. However, it should not take almost three hours to get an oil change and tire rotation with an appointment. This seems to be the standard for franchised Dealers compared to aftermarket oil change shops which take 30 minutes. Service Advisor did not check in with me during the entire time I was waiting, had to go find him. Small thing maybe but there was no coffee or snacks in the waiting room. (particularly for such a long visit) I went across the street to the Mazda Dealer for coffee. They were well stocked with fresh fruit, snacks and coffee. When my car was finally complete they did wash it. More
I have had nothing but problems since I bought my car back in 2019 and have had it to the dealership many times. The most recent is that it lost power while driving and then it wouldn’t go into reverse. back in 2019 and have had it to the dealership many times. The most recent is that it lost power while driving and then it wouldn’t go into reverse. I dropped it off and they said they couldn’t find the problem and gave it back to me even though it was a huge liability issue. It did the same thing the next morning so I drove it to the dealership. They “think” it might be the transmission but due to workload and parts available, it might be 2-3 months before my car is repaired. Who will make my car payment during this time?? This is unacceptable. More
