Had to have my truck towed in, would not start. I have never seen this dealer so busy. Spoke with the mechanic who was working on my truck, singled out the issue and problem was resolved. I turned my car in at 430 on Monday afternoon. Told i would get a call when diagnosed. No call Tuesday so i called them. No doagnoses tuesday. I found out Wed that my service agent was off on Tuesday. What happened to giving it to any service agent working so we can order the parts?! Finally a call on Wed, with a diagnosis. Ok, will call you when parts are in. NO call Thursday! They said NO parts were shipped on a Thursday?! What?! And NO call to twll me that, im thinking they were fixing my car. I called them Friday morning, because if it wasnt going to be fixed i needed a courtesy car. Oh, no courtesy car they said for a 2013 Ford repair. What?! YOU guys didnt get the part, YOU guys didnt call, YOU guys were mishandling this. And you say NO courtesy car? Oh, because Ford Detroit says no courtesy car you say?! I guess Ford Tustin is not in the customer care business. I called Friday morning and service manager Greg said it will be done in the hour. Great. I go pick it up. And get up to 35 mph on the freeway on ramp...Clang Clang Clang under my car on the freeway. I pull over. Get out and look. Something metal IS HANGING under my car. YOU HAVE GOT TO TO BE KIDDING! i limp back to the dealer. THEY HAD NOT PUT BACK ON THE SHIELD THAT GOES UNDER MY ENGINE ON MY FUSION. THEY HAD NOT PUT IT BACK ON. just went from Bad to HORRIBLE. how does THAT happen. Maybe Ford Detroit should be running Ford Tustin. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. More
I’ll start out with the service writer Christian was very friendly and tried everything to make sure that my complaints were valued. I was having trouble with my air conditioner and radio and on previous vis friendly and tried everything to make sure that my complaints were valued. I was having trouble with my air conditioner and radio and on previous visits they were unable to reproduce the problem. That particular day it was happening again so I drove into the service center and Christian immediately brought the mechanic right over so they could verify my complaint. They then proceeded to write it up as a warranty issue and the problem was finally resolved. Thank you Autonation and Christian for handling the problem professionally and in a timely manner. More
