Made an appointment to have my car's transmission serviced on 1/22/21. I had to wait 2 weeks for that appointment. Showed up as scheduled and was informed by the service advisor that they could not g serviced on 1/22/21. I had to wait 2 weeks for that appointment. Showed up as scheduled and was informed by the service advisor that they could not get to my car till Feb 3 but if I wanted I could just leave it there. Really? 2 weeks? This is not the first time I have had issues with AutoNation service department but I guarantee you it is the last. Will not buy another vehicle that has to be serviced by them. I would like to blame it on just this one service department in Torrance but ran into the same problems in the Denver area. Would not recommend any AutoNation to anyone. More
This place is a disaster, and one of the managers, AB, is unethical. Was shopping for a truck, and while our numbers didnt match, I parted with the salesperson by saying "if my numbers are doable, call me il unethical. I left and 15 minutes later, my phone rang and the manager tells me "come back i want to make a deal". I drove back to the dealership and met the manager this time, he ran my credit (720 score) and after haggling again, he was NOT anywhere the price I told them would be my limit. Why did he make me come back? Why run my credit? they KNEW my limit in what I was willing to pay for the car. Corrupt management of this dealership, don't shop there, they are unethical and downright shady! More

Taking bad customer experience to a new low. Management suck I had a recall on my ford focus and I went there with the hopes to get it fixed. Mind it, I called a day earlier to make sure the technicians are available to handle the job before I visit them and I was assured they will fix it. I left my car, expected to receive a call later that day with an update but it didn't happen. Next day the technician was not available and the guy in the service center was clueless about the status of my car and said, I think its still not ready. After some back and forth, I got to know the work was not even started on my car.I got my car back just the way I left it. The guy wanted to check if I want to come again on Monday to get it fixed? Nope sir, never ever. Anyways, I had bad experience with this dealership in the past but still wanted to give it a try. Make me fool once, your fault, Make me fool twice, my fault. I've learnt my lesson. Never again. More
1 star for service, they will try to overcharge you if you do not pay attention on your maintenance and warranty contract when you bought in beginning. I’ve had many leases for many dealerships in the past. I’m 3000 miles of this vehicle I had a rear passenger LOL. This blowout was a cause of a defective tire. This was verified by a specialist in automotive repair in Torrance California. I brought my car down to Ford and showed them the blowout and they did nothing about it? At 20,000 miles I noticed the training was getting very low on all the tires. A few more miles and I began to see the radial tread’s of the tires? I was very concerned. The reason I really found this problem, as a hydroplaned through an intersection when the road was wet. I brought my car back down to the service at Torrance Ford and they said this is a defective tire and all the tires need to be replaced. I was getting ready for the tires to be replaced when the service manager stated I will have to pay for 100% labor 100% tax and 70 %Defective product?? I believe this is not right because the defective product is not my fault. The service manager and his colleague Diganta laugh at me and stated that I did not know defective product liability? Yes I’m not a lawyer, however I believe Lawyer would love a case like this.It is a shame that our local vendors and Torrance wouldn’t do the right work for a hard-working consumer that believes in the product. I still like Ford trucks and I repair and restore order for Broncos. If you’re looking for a lease and you don’t not want to have any service problems, don’t go to this dealership I would recommend if you would like a Ford’s, Go to another Ford dealership even if it’s a farther drive. Hopefully one day of the service manager at Torrance Ford will have another job and allow for us to keep its food name in the future. More

DON'T BUY CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED DO NOT buy a certified pre-owned from AutoNation Ford Torrance (AFT). I purchased a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED 2016 Ford Explorer w/ 2,800 miles on 1/23/18. DO NOT buy a certified pre-owned from AutoNation Ford Torrance (AFT). I purchased a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED 2016 Ford Explorer w/ 2,800 miles on 1/23/18. Unfortunately for me, and not surprisingly being an LA resident, I didn’t get the car up to highway speeds until after my 5-day return period. About two weeks after purchase, I got my car on the highway and once I got north of about 65 mph the car starting making a horrible noise. I was upset, thinking how could this car have been certified and supposedly “Worry Free” with such a horrific sound? After bringing the car in and asking questions, I was told that AFT does not drive their used cars on the highway before tagging them as Certified Pre-Owned. What?! How can this be? There should be a disclaimer, “Only certified and worry free for issues that arise at 45 mph or less.” Since then, AFT has had my car for a total of 18 days over two periods, and today the car was returned to me, WITHOUT A FIX. I, like any other consumer that purchases a defective product, want my money back. NOPE. AFT was willing to talk to me about trading my car and getting into another one, however once I demanded my money back, I got the “I can’t help you with that” treatment from several people. I’ve been told I have to open a case with Ford Motor Company in order to get them to buy my car back. I can’t wait to see how long and painful this process is. Shameful business practice at AFT.
