On October 5th, I took my 2013 Fiesta to the Ford dealership to check it out. I assumed that it was a typical ongoing issue with the transmission, and that it was still under warranty which meant no dealership to check it out. I assumed that it was a typical ongoing issue with the transmission, and that it was still under warranty which meant no charge for repairs. Unfortunately I was charged $100.00 for them to tell me that was not the issue. However, they claimed to have done a complete brake inspection and informed me that new calipers and pads were need and quoted me an outrageous rate. I was able to safely drive it to a reputable brake shop for a second opinion. At which they replace the pads, calipers, and also parts not suggested by Ford: master cylinder and hoses. The parts were all new, and at a very affordable price! Afterwards, it was still not safe to drive, and it was then discovered that a new ABS Module was needed. If there was an issue with the ABS, I did not receive a warning on the dashboard. We can receive an indicator for an oil change, low tire pressure, etc. why not for ABS! I've been without transportation since Oct 5th waiting for an ABS Module, which no one seems to have in stock, including Ford! This car should not have been on the lot for sale in 2015, which is when I purchased it. Scheduling an appointments is not so great when you have to wait a few days before you can get your car in. Customer Service was great until it was time to check out! Ford was not honest and failing to mention the ABS Module. We were definitely shocked that the Ford did not detect this in the complete brake inspection. More
