AutoNation Ford St. Petersburg

After taking delivery of a 2022 Explorer Platinum, I purchased several items to be installed. After waiting over a month the service appointment, I was informed that day that one of the parts did not ar purchased several items to be installed. After waiting over a month the service appointment, I was informed that day that one of the parts did not arrive and the installation of the other parts would not be possible. The service person Betty had an I don’t care attitude and when I asked why I was not informed beforehand she said it’s not her job and service department does not work with the repair department. I then talk to the service department supervisor and he assured me that I was going to be informed about the delivery of the missing part before the next appointment which was another month wait. Needless to say, I was not informed about the delivery of the part and I had to find out on my own. On the day of the parts installation the service department attempted to charge me for parts I had already purchased I then had to go to the service manager again because Betty was completely uncooperative. My parts were eventually installed, service manager did wave the labor fees because of my dissatisfaction. Although I did not pay for the labor fees, I still will not go back to AutoNation Ford St Petersburg for Service because of the unacceptable customer service I received and when it comes time for the purchase of a new vehicle I will not be doing business with AutoNation Ford in St. Petersburg. More

We sound like a broken record. This is the third purchase we’ve made at AutoNation Ford in St. Petersburg. We went on Sunday and had made an appointment. Our usual go to guys are too high up the ladder to cover a weekend. ( We missed both Bruce, Scott & Dan.) We were given great and entertaining treatment by Art and Mike. With their expert guidance we are all set. The only negatives were that the building was freezing, the chairs aren’t great to sit in very long.
