Called for oil change 2/22/18 1st oil Change I had a good experience when I bought my car brand new at AutoNation Ford in Scottsdale. It is time for my first oil change so I called yesterday to see what the cost would be, letting the girl know that it is my first oil change. I ask if I purchase the gold plan if it covered the oil change she gave me to finance dept to find out I do not have it covered only the vehicle warranty. Which is fine the reason I called is they are a distance for me to drive if it is not covered I would go to a ford dealership closer to me. I called automation closer to me but they were booked so I got ahold of surprise ford dealership and took it this morning. To find out I should have got my 1st oil change FREE that Ford pays for the first oil change to the dealership you buy it for. I am very disappointed that I was not told that yesterday from the dealership I bought it from. I hope they contact me and reimburse me for my oil change since I would have gladly went to them if they would have inform me of this. I want others to know of this so they get their free oil change!! More

This time my car began to make rattling noises so I had my 17 y/o son take it in (I am a single mother of 2 children and their father died several years ago) since I work full time. Next day I speak with service rep and he tells me they can do 2 things, 1) fix it enough to keep it running for $3100 or put a new engine in for $8000 (car has Blue Book value of ~$1200. My son was very attached to this car so I said let's do the $3100 fix......5 days later I am told it is unfixable and needs a new engine which I can't afford so I told him I would pick it up. He tells me that the engine is all torn apart and I need to tow it out! Not only did I have to tow it out after it was driven there but I also had to pay $500 for their labor cost!!! TOTAL SHAME ON THEM! More

Tried to charge me for work they didn't do. I took my F150 in for the first service (tire rotation and oil change). After I paid $64, I noticed that they hadn't rotated my tires. One of the valve stems is unique and was in the same location (right rear) of the truck as when I dropped it off. So I checked the oil. Still dirty. No oil change was performed. They claimed to refund my credit card when I pointed out to them that they didn't rotate my tires or change my oil. My credit card still shows the charge as pending so time will tell if they actually refunded it. More

Called them and was told " it started after we fixed it so bring it back and we'll dig deeper. Not only was the price 40% more than 4 other places I called but only took care of one issue when they new of others. Loving the diagnostic fee I guess. Needless to say I towed it somewhere else and 20 minutes after arrival they had the diagnosis. Save your time money and patience. There motto" if it starts nothings wrong". More

I just spoke with the GM and he told me I was in the wrong. I HAVE NEVER HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT THIS DEALERSHIP, They are friendly until you sign the paperwork for a new car, then they could care less about how they treat you. More
Poor Service, no loaner cars, damaged vehicle interior I would know, I purchased a Ford Focus, a Ford Explorer, and F-150 and a Chevy Suburban LTZ from them. Service was so bad I bought my 2015 F-250 from I would know, I purchased a Ford Focus, a Ford Explorer, and F-150 and a Chevy Suburban LTZ from them. Service was so bad I bought my 2015 F-250 from a different dealer, but that wasn't prudent because Autonation Ford Scottsdale was the closest warranty dealer. They most recently kept my truck for 10 days to fix the dash board and they actually said it was delayed because it was too hot out. Seriously. Then they kept it a few more days and gave it back to me dirty and said they will "detail" it next time, which they didn't. No loaners available either. Strange. Then they put an orange dash lid in the black dash to replace the black one and said its Ford's fault. What? Weird. People in my office were laughing at me for getting the run-a-round on a $67k truck. When I got home, I cleaned my truck. Guess what, autonation left a 3" gash in my glossy dash board! Must have been a tool on their belt that dug in? Had a similar experience with them repairing my other vehicles. Just the worst. Low level service. I got so tired of them, I traded my 250 king ranch in for a Porsche. My wife knows we are don't buying Ford as well as from buying any vehicle from autonation. More

Long story short and close to tears, this person said he would call me back in 15 minutes. That was 1:15pm. It is now 9:05pm and I still have not hear from them. They should have called as promised regardless of the response. I am going to do everything I can not to go there. More
