The worst service department I've ever been a part of sadly I've been there 3 times & didn't know the difference between good and poor service, AutoNation service avoids you on walk in & on the phone My sadly I've been there 3 times & didn't know the difference between good and poor service, AutoNation service avoids you on walk in & on the phone My truck was in on warranty work for the master cylinder, I had a slight exhaust leak that they written up as a false fastener which cost $2600 to repair Extended warranty does not cover fasteners yes I remove my vehicle taking it to Chapman Ford down the road for second opinion which was $1200 for it was for a warped exhaust which is covered under extended warranty warranty I was charged a $100 with great service I will never go to Autonation again in fact I'll don't plan on another Ford because the deception & money I've wasted on a New truck. More
Went for 10,000 mile service, service said 2. 5 hr waited 5hrs.later they finished. Found out they have only 1 mechanic for the whole shop. I sent my daughter down to get my car an oil change for my 2015 Focus. Did not realize that they wanted to keep it overnight. After speaking to the service director he had it expedited. Communication was terrible from the start. I brought in my 2020 Explorer with 15,000 miles due to a bad transmission. The Service Director wanted me to continue driving it until a warning ligh I brought in my 2020 Explorer with 15,000 miles due to a bad transmission. The Service Director wanted me to continue driving it until a warning light came on. I also was never given updates unless I called them. Overall, they did resolve the problem and replaced the transmission, but the customer service/communication side of the experience could be improved. More
I took my 2012 explorer for a check up due to a clunking sound. They did a complete inspection including various test drives. The car never made the sound for them. It took 2.5 days for the diagnosis. Even sound. They did a complete inspection including various test drives. The car never made the sound for them. It took 2.5 days for the diagnosis. Even though it was slower then I thought it would be (that's why the 4 instead of the 5), I am very satisfied with the professionalism in trying to find my cars problem. More
