I "left" AutoNation Ford in North Scottsdale over a year ago and had to go back for a re-call on my car, besides needing a general service. Previously my assigned assistant AWAYS found something more that was needed, I felt I was over charged. I called the previous Service Manager at least 5 times to question the service and the cost ($4,000 over a couple of years). I never received a return call! I wrote to FORD's Board of Directors who contacted Autonation, but still I received no call from Autonation. I found out that when I brought my car in this time, there is a new Service Manager and my previously assigned Assistant are no longer employed. I'll go back, BUT where was the oversight of the Service Department previously??? Hopefully they have got their act together More

Last couple of service appointments at other dealers were frustrating. Was pleasantly surprised by the service at AutoNation. Necessary work was communicated quickly and effectively, and then completed in frustrating. Was pleasantly surprised by the service at AutoNation. Other Ford Service Centers were not able to get us in for transmission service until Nov, but Autonation was able to the 3rd week of Oct after initial call. The initial diagnostic drive by the driveability transmission service until Nov, but Autonation was able to the 3rd week of Oct after initial call. The initial diagnostic drive by the driveability person said they couldn't duplicate the problem. I then requested a drive-along with him and did that 2 days after the vehicle was dropped off. Was able to observe the problem then, but required me to drive an additional 160 miles roundtrip since we live out of the valley. Service personnel verified that the repairs were covered under the Ford service bulletins and were able to repair the vehicle within the next 3 days. Pleasantly surprised that the torque converter and associated parts were in stock. Overall pleased at the outcome, but my rating suffers somewhat because of difficulty leaving messages and receiving return calls with updates. The phone system would attempt transfer to Service, but then would hang up. I was able to leave some messages but then would not get return calls promptly. More
