We purchased a Mercedes 2016 C300 on Dec. 7th for our college age son. We liked the car for him price was not crazy no prior accidents & was told passed 125 points test all green. We did a test drive the car started with a rough idle also brakes was vibrating when coming to a stop at low speed & was told that was normal. We decided after the sales person showed us the inspection report to test drive a second time. The car brakes was not vibrating and no longer had rough idle. We purchased car and service warranty. We thought the sales process was good with sales& finance. But now realize sold a bag of xx. Our son was initially happy to get his car. But he noticed the car was still having a rough idle, it started to hesitate when taking off, car has been struggling between 2nd, 3rd, 4th gear & quick excel from 6th to 7th on highway. It jerks between gears. I took the car to North Orlando Mercedes who supposedly did the inspection they told it was a cold weather issue the rough idle jerking was normal for 4matic. As things get worse I made appointment with Autonation Mercedes Maitland today. Luis in service team inspected the car he returned after me waiting 8p - 4:30p for inspection to be completed. He came back with 4 pages of issues that there is no way he said this car should have passed 125 point test cleanly. For example rear brakes are metal on metal & front brakes also need to be done along with a number of issues hence why car is jerking & brakes are vibrating. So to get the sale across the line after we told them this car is for our son. They did not care about safety. We would have purchased a car from them but probably not this one if they were honest about the report. Whoever did the report could not have inspected this car per Mercedes Maitland. We were sold warranty that we were told will cover everything it is the premier level. Well since we have the car less than 30 days we can’t use it and AutoNation we are pass the 7 day period. So we are SOL right now. I will be surprise if someone help us since I can’t get anyone to return my phone calls hence why I am fed up and writing this review. Lesson you can’t trust the report! A very disappointed customer this is the second car we are buying from AutoNation this year. We were stupid because we had a bad experience at AN USA in Sanford after we purchased that car. More
Not a proactive company and no follow through after the sale. Jorge Fuenmayor stated our registration and title work would be completed within 30 days. The day after our 30 day temporary tag expired we attempted multiple calls and receive multiple hangups. When finally reaching the initial salesman, Steve Greenhut, he and a Denise informed us they are waiting on the title from a sister location and issues with the registration. No one bothered to call to inform us and/or to issue a new temporary tag while they attempt to fix their non-disclosed issues. I asked for a refund of the $199 Reg/Tag/Title Fees paid upfront but Steve stated after speaking to a Jessica, AutoNation Ford Sanford declined. I have filed a Consumer Complaint Form with FLHSMV. More
Manager said they tested the brakes in their 170 pt check up. I questioned that they were not very tight. Said they put on new front brake pads. They agreed to put on new back brake pads. Drove off the l up. I questioned that they were not very tight. Said they put on new front brake pads. They agreed to put on new back brake pads. Drove off the lot with confidence brakes were fix. Dead wrong, almost got in accident on I4. They would not let me take to my mechanic for inspection unless sales rep attended. But my mechanic was 25 miles away so that did not work. I immediately took my new car to my mechanic after I bought the car and found that both front and rear rotors were in bad shape and the brake fluid was in bad condition also. Spent $1000 to get brakes working correctly. Called salesman next day to see what they would do and never heard back from AutoNation people. I know it is on me to call them back but would be cautious of their 170 point check up! Almost cost me a big crash because car would not stop on highway driving home from AutoNation. I don’t believe AutoNation had their best interest in taking care of a customer. Just wanted to get the car out the door. More

The financial officer took much longer to work through details and when Champ came back to help, it made everything go much smoother. He made my car buying experience a priority and worked overtime to make sure I got the car I wanted and for a great price too. More
