We bought out our lease and it was a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly and efficient. Was able to order a new truck through them with zero issues. Consistent communication through the whole process that took months due to chip shortages and backorders. With my experience this dealership is dishonest. We were told the car we purchased took regular gas. It turns out premium gas is recommended. We had a prior car that used premium and we didn’t want We were told the car we purchased took regular gas. It turns out premium gas is recommended. We had a prior car that used premium and we didn’t want to do that again. After reaching out to 2 other dealers, an independent mechanic, and a person right at Auto Nation (at least one honest person there) we discovered you should use premium gas in the car. The GM indicated he never uses premium gas in any of his vehicles regardless if premium gas is recommended. What is disturbing then, with his 35 years experience, all of the people that bought cars there that were also mislead to believe that regular gas is okay to use. We wanted to return the vehicle. It was 2 days after purchase and believed the AutoNation statement claiming you have 5 days no questions asked for return. Again, also not true. They indicated we had Special equipment on the car which voided this. Our special equipment was 3 new tires. The car had one new tire that was not the same brand as any of the other used tires. We didn’t feel this was acceptable based upon any time we replaced tires on any of our vehicles. Also, we are still waiting for call back from them. More
