Beware of Scam BE AWARE CUSTOMERS, POSSIBLE SCAM, CHECK YOUR SERVICE POINTS. I was in to receive service on my vehicle. I waited there for 3 hours after being told BE AWARE CUSTOMERS, POSSIBLE SCAM, CHECK YOUR SERVICE POINTS. I was in to receive service on my vehicle. I waited there for 3 hours after being told it would not be that long and at the time of checkout, I asked if I had any redeemable service points. They said no and I could not understand that as I have been going for routine maintenance every 6 months and for repairs that add up to at least $300 each time I go. Andrew, my service advisor told me I have to speak with the service manager, Sean. Sean told me they had not given me points for at least 1.5 years. I have a credit available that is due me and supposed to be credited back to my credit card. I have called Sean at least 6 times to find out information on when and how I will be credited and he said he has to find out. I keep calling and he has not returned any calls. This has been going on since December 5th. It is now the 18th of December. I was now told by a receptionist that Sean is out of town and he left my situation hanging without even a courtesy call or letting me know he would attend to my issue when he returned. I then reached out to the GM, James Lanzaro. I had to leave 2 messages even though I was told he was at the dealership and he has yet to return a courtesy call. I then reached out to Emma on Fords online chat service for this location and she gave me the runaround as well and did not take my complaint seriously. I have been a loyal customer at this location for 7 years. A customer should not have to beg for a phone call back or be blatantly ignored. This is a simple fix of a credit to my credit card and they obviously don't care or they would have at least placed a courtesy update phone call. They are taking advantage of customers by not crediting them with earned service dollars and then are denying the customer any credit back for which I had paid through all my service appointments. I WONDER HOW MANY OTHER CUSTOMERS THIS IS HAPPENING TO. Shame on you Sean and James for ignoring a loyal customer and not applying the credit I have earned back to my card since it was your error for the past 1.5 years. Your actions are deceitful and you are keeping money that is mine. Last time I checked, that is considered theft. More
LACK OF COMPETENCE AGAIN Have been using this ford service center since Feb of 2017. First show of incompetence was failure to tell me the brake was wearing more on the rig Have been using this ford service center since Feb of 2017. First show of incompetence was failure to tell me the brake was wearing more on the right front wheel when replacing the rotors, which led to my caliper seizing up and ruining the brand new rotor. Then they charged me for that additional repair that was ultimately there lack of professionalism. Every time I take my F-150 in, I have oil change and tire rotation. RELIGIOUSLY. I even told them again to be sure to do it, because their power was limited the last time I went in right after the hurricane Irma and they were unable to complete the rotation. EXPLAINED AND CONFIRMED! Set there for an hour and while going over my bill noticed I do not see the rotation documented on this bill. Per Rinaldo: " Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know you wanted a rotation. Well we didn't charge you for it, so we're good". What the heck is good for the customer about any of this service or lack there of??? Actually I will be contacting another service center more than 10 miles away and see how they do. As for Margate Ford Service Center. NO! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY. DEFINITELY TIME TO CLEAN HOUSE AND REVAMP THAT SERVICE PERSONEL. APPARENTLY A BIT TOO MUCH JOB SECURITY OVER THERE. SAD FACE. Unhappy Edge Worst experience I ever had. After 6 failed attempts to fix my 2015 Edge they told me to pick up my car and i'd "just have to deal with it". Very un Worst experience I ever had. They will bend over to make a sale and then bend you over if you ever expect them to support the sale. I'd never go back or recommend AutoNation. More
Completely turned my experience around! I initially gave this review a 1 star a week ago. I had bought a used truck from here and had already started experiencing problems with it. Along wit I initially gave this review a 1 star a week ago. I had bought a used truck from here and had already started experiencing problems with it. Along with this I had a hard time getting a Manager on the phone to help me with my issue so my frustrations were growing. Finally I decided to just go in and speak with them in person, couldn't of been a better decision. I politely explained the problem to the General Manager and he instantly started working with me to resolve it. They gave me a loaner car immediately and told me that they would fix the problem. Within two days I had my truck fixed, cleaned and ready for pickup. James and Sean both really turned my experience around, I was really surprised. Would highly recommend them! More
Excellent Service - I Highly Recommend I purchased a new F150 in 2014 for Autonation in Margate. Have had two accidents in the past 2 years and each time I brought my truck into the service I purchased a new F150 in 2014 for Autonation in Margate. Have had two accidents in the past 2 years and each time I brought my truck into the service center on Copans. Omar Heredia was my service advisor both times and he is always fast, professional and goes above and beyond to help. This time around, my wife is pregnant and due in just a few days so getting my vehicle back expeditiously is critical and Omar has been expediting everything like a champ. I really appreciate him and autonation for helping me through both stressful times. You can rest easy with Omar and autonation when servicing or purchasing a vehicle. More
I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy Bad service we set up an appointment 5 days before we went turns out they don't even take appointments seriously. then they sent us to a different per Bad service we set up an appointment 5 days before we went turns out they don't even take appointments seriously. then they sent us to a different person named Ricky we were talking about the problem with my A/C then he tells us he couldn't find our warranty information in their system then he told me I had to bring a physical copy of the warranty I had so I went home to go get it, I came back 15 min later and he's to busy now and makes me wait over 50 minutes for him than he finally takes my car to his tech guys and tells me I can come back later to pick it up. He calls me 2 hours later saying that it turns out my warranty doesn't cover the problem with the A/C and that I'd have to pay out of my pocket to fix it, I told him ok then he calls me an hour later saying there's a problem with my tires and that I'll have to buy new ones from them (my tires were 2 months old) I asked why and he gave me a big speech that had nothing to do with what I asked I told him no thank you and hung up the phone. He calls me 2 hours later saying that my car is finally ready and to hurry up because there closing in 15 min I get there and he takes me to the cashier to pay and he leaves. Later that night I found out that they had changed my car lights from white to yellow which made me mad because my car is fairly new and is a fully loaded model and I never asked them to change my car lights and now my car looks like a cheap model. I called back the next day and he told me that he didn't do that and that there was nothing he could do about it unless if I buy the lights from them. After this experience I wouldn't recommend this dealership to nobody not even my worse enemy. Stay away from this dealer More
Brought my Ford Mustang in for warranty repairs. And the dealer did NOT honor the new vehicle warranty. I was ripped off and lied to several times. The mechanic (Jonathan) and the Assistant Service Manager dealer did NOT honor the new vehicle warranty. I was ripped off and lied to several times. The mechanic (Jonathan) and the Assistant Service Manager (Reinel) are dishonest and un-proffessional. They went out of their way to lie to Ford Motor Company in order to make money off me. This dealer does not care about customer satisfaction, only about making money! Stay away More
