AutoNation Ford Margate - Service Center

I just recently had my 2018 ford focus se serviced at Autonation Ford of Margate, in Margate, Florida. I had my oil and oil filter changed, tires rotated and had new lug nuts put on my rims. And as always, i had a great experience with my service advisor Andrew Stewart. He was very friendly and professional and provided me with excellent customer service. He is one of the best service advisors that Autonation Ford of Margate has. I always bring my car to be serviced at Autonation Ford of Margate because I know the job gets done right the first time. I use to bring my car to a local mechanic years ago but it would never get repaired the first time correctly. I had to constantly bring my car back time and time again for the same problem because the mechanic was not properly trained in dealing with Ford vehicles. That mechanic was only ASE certified. But at all Ford dealerships like Autonation Ford of Margate the mechanic-technicians not only have to be ASE certified, they also have to be "Ford Motor Company Certified" to work on Ford vehicles, so you know the job gets done right the first time and in a timely manner. If you pay some local mechanic at a gas station garage or another type of garage the service and job never gets done properly and they always use after market-rebuilt parts and not factory made parts that come straight from the Ford manufacturing plant and those parts have a warranty and last many, many years longer. I brought my F150 in for one of my prepaid services. My service writer, Shomari Willis advised a coolant flush was recommended and that it would cost $168.00. I agreed to the additional service and signed the work order. When I picked up the truck the next day and was advised the total was $228.00. When I told Shomari that was way more than he quoted he found several additional charges on the bill I was never told about or agreed to. Shomari worked on his computer before finally giving me a bill with the agreed upon price. I appreciated what Shomari had done. But the additional charges should never had been added in the first place. When I first dropped off the truck with Shomari i had also pointed out two screws that were left in my truck from my previous service at the same dealership several months earlier. I had the air conditioner air filter changed and thought the screws may have been removed by the technician to access where the filter goes and they had not been replaced. Shomari told me to leave the screws on the center console and he would have the technician check. When I picked up the truck the screws were where I left them with no explanation as to whether they checked or not. These screws should never had been left in my door handle to begin with and still possibly need to be placed where they came from More
