The service was terrible and I will not go back again. It started with our car engine light coming on. We made an appointment and took the car in. We were told that the appointment is not to look at th It started with our car engine light coming on. We made an appointment and took the car in. We were told that the appointment is not to look at the car but just to set-up time to talk to a service rep. The service rep said it would probably take a week or more to get to look at the car. But he would check tomorrow as it was late in the day and the techs had gone home. I called the next day but could not get through but kept getting put on hold. I called the next day and finally got through. They said I needed a new engine. The Escape is less than 5 years old and less than 43,000 miles but it still needed an engine. I was told the engine would be in on Monday and done on Friday. I was concerned about what a new engine would do to the value of the car so I went into the sales department to talk to them. I was told it would not affect the value. But I ask for an appraisal. The salesman said he would get back to me but he never did. So the following week I called three times but could not get through but was put on hold. Finally I went in on Thursday and was told the car would be ready on Friday. But on Friday I went in and the car was not ready. I was told instead that they could not get the engine because they were on part credit hold. I called another dealer and they could get the engine the next day. Autonation told me that they did not know when they would get an engine. But then a week later they called and said the car was done. They obviously don't know what is going on. The customer service was terrible. I will not go back to that dealer again. I guess is that they will be out of business in a year. More
There was a small miscommunication with the timeline is repairs but they still did a wonderful job. Shawn called a couple different times to keep me updated, and Adam was wonderful in getting me the best d repairs but they still did a wonderful job. I love this dealership. They shuttle you quickly home after you drop off the car, keep you informed about what repairs are needed, and deliver a well tuned vehicle! John in service was awesome. Brought car in for routine service as well as some updates and repairs for the touch screen which were handled promptly. The general manager also authorized John to have my vehicle taken across the street to the body shop to have a small dent removed out of the tail gate which now looks great. Lastly John was cooperative with our flight being delayed and not being able to arrived during business hours so John left our car in front of the bay door and mailed out our key fob.
