If I could give these people a zero stars I would and even that is giving them too much. I took my 2015 Ford Explore with only 52,000 miles on it in because my AC was blowing warm no matter how low I put even that is giving them too much. I took my 2015 Ford Explore with only 52,000 miles on it in because my AC was blowing warm no matter how low I put the temperature on 8/25. They diagnosed that the AC valves were leaking and needed to be replaced. I was advised that they would have to order the parts and it would take a couple of days. It’s been 2 weeks. I have called every single day 3-4 times a day and I am being told that they will have my service advisor Sean, will call me back. I NEVER get a call back. I feel like I am harassing these people to get a status update on MY CAR!!!! Not to mention when I finally do get through to Sean its always a different excuse. First he said it will a couple of days to order and get the parts, then he says that he has to order it from out of state, one part coming from Indiana and the other part is coming from DC. I said ok, then a few days goes by I call Sean to once again get a status update, I don’t get a phone call back until the Receptionist Patty leaves her post to run to the service dept to get an update for me. She then tells me that the one of the parts was lost in transition and the other one never even left the state. Mind, I’m having to rent a car in the meantime because I have to go to work. So far, I’ve paid $758 for a rental car all out of my own pocket. Then Sean tells me that he can have the parts come in “local” meaning somewhere in FL. I ask him once again how long would that take and he a couple of days and that this time he can set up my rental for those couple to a few days and they can bill the dealership. I said ok. So 2 days later I call the dealership again to once to get a status update on the parts. This time, Sean was off and I spoke to David-he said he was new and to allow him sometime to research what was going on, I said fine. David calls me back within a short period and tells me that they have one part and the other part is on back order. I tell him that I need to speak to the service manager because this is ridiculous. The service dept managers name is Richard Sweet, he basically reiterates what Sean and David says but no one is willing to do much of anything!!!! I still don’t have my car, I am out $758 from the rental that I paid, the frustration of not knowing when my car wi be ready. And to make matters worse, I tell Richard Sweet that I will pick up my car and he tells me that my car is on the rack-I said then take it off the rack and I will only pay for them diagnosing the problem but that is it. He tells me, give me an hour so that I can get a status update on the part. At this point I don’t know what to do because when someone owes you something or an explanation they drag their feet or give excuses but if you owe them something they want to get the law involved or not give you your property back. I’ve had better experiences with them. First off I made an appointment 3 weeks in advance and they didn’t even look at or attempt to call with an update. I only found out they didn’t touch it when attempt an appointment 3 weeks in advance and they didn’t even look at or attempt to call with an update. I only found out they didn’t touch it when attempting to pick up at end of day. Secondly, two of the main repairs I brought the vehicle in for were not fixed, so I will have to come back for additional repairs. It seems like they were more worried about the additional sell-up for recommend mileage items instead of what I asked for. The bad thing is I agreed to and had them complete all of the sell-ups; so they could have at least made sure the other stuff was right. More
Sales department great. Service department sucks, first I couldn’t get no one to help me then they tried to rip me off for $100.00 for tire and installation. Went to Tire Plus and same tire with installation couldn’t get no one to help me then they tried to rip me off for $100.00 for tire and installation. Went to Tire Plus and same tire with installation saved $100.00. Will not be back to Auto Nation ever!!! More
I had my 2015 Escape with just over 85000 miles on it towed to AutoNation on a Wednesday morning when it stopped being able to accelerate while driving over the Buckman Bridge. AutoNation was the closest towed to AutoNation on a Wednesday morning when it stopped being able to accelerate while driving over the Buckman Bridge. AutoNation was the closest Ford Dealer. The service advisor assigned to me was terrible and could not communicate well. I indicated I would need a car and his response was "we don't have cars but we can drive you home". I told him where I lived (Saint Johns) and he said, "oh no, that's too far". I was finally able to get from him that I could rent a car. I never said I wouldn't pay for a ride. It took almost 2 hours for Enterprise to pick me up from their location literally across the street. I think the service advisor never called them until I asked after 90 min how much longer it would be. They showed up about 30 min after that. We get a call at the end of the day on Thursday saying it would be $7000 to replace my transmission and take 4-6 weeks to get the part. Are you kidding me??? We tried calling back the next day and he never returned our call. I ended up having my car towed from AutoNation to a transmission shop and I rented a different car for a week. After I paid for the diagnostic and rental from Enterprise, the advisor said he wouldn't give me my keys until the tow truck arrived. When it did, he was nowhere to be found (I guess he was on lunch at 3:30 in the afternoon??) and there was one poor girl working the desks. They finally tracked him down so I could get the keys for the tow truck driver. I asked the advisor for the diagnostics that I paid $100 for (not to mention the $80 in rental car charges for the two days you had my car) since he didn't give it to me when I paid, and I literally just got a piece of paper with prices scribbled on it. No codes. Nothing from the mechanic who supposedly inspected it. AutoNation Ford should be ashamed of themselves and should refund the $100 for the diagnostic since I don't think they even really looked at the car. It was a joke. I had an extended warranty on this car and it expired in April, not at 100K miles like I thought. Your cars don’t last and Ford works the warranties so the cars die horrible, expensive deaths immediately after the warranty expires. Beyond disappointed and I will tell anyone who will listen to avoid this dealership and Fords in general. More

If all you need is an oil change then yes by all means anyone can do that. However I took my vehicle here for an engine issue and called a week or so ahead explaining what it was doing and made a Saturday anyone can do that. However I took my vehicle here for an engine issue and called a week or so ahead explaining what it was doing and made a Saturday appointment. I get there and was told that they can do my oil change but he doesn't have anyone to look at the engine issue. I'm already a little annoyed as to why I wasn't told this so I could make plans elsewhere but was like whatever it is what it is now so I left it until Monday. I finally get a call later Monday afternoon that the tech had so carryover work from Friday so he won't be able to check it until the next day. I waited until later Tuesday with no response and called and had to leave my service guy a message to call me back and when he did told me that it could be this but they would have to check further after replacing the part. He then tells me I will have to pay another nearly $100 diagnostic fee before they can proceed. At this point I'm over it and not going to be shaken down with fees over a pretty simple issue. I got the car back bought the coil pack at auto zone and get home to fix my vehicle, then one final surprise the tech has stripped the retaining nut that holds my coil down so I can't even get the xxxx thing out and had to take it to another shop to swap it and the head cover out anyway. Maybe I should send them a service bill for having to diagnose and fix what they broke on my car? More
