Do not use the subpar Service department, I had a coupon for a brake pads job and rotor service that wasn't honored and had to pay two and half times more. Then was told they didn't have the parts? The stan for a brake pads job and rotor service that wasn't honored and had to pay two and half times more. Then was told they didn't have the parts? The standards parts at a ford dealer for one of the most sold ford vehicles ever. The cherry on top was wen I was told that I needed a brake service that wasn't included on the already expensive brake and rotor job. For those who don't know the brake service is really easy when the rotors and pad are off. It's just bleeding the line and refilling the reservoir with a $3 bottle of brake fluid. They also stated I needed a fuel injector service as if my car was from the 80s. Those are only needed if your vehicle is idling rough. Basically, they don't honor coupons, don't have the parts for their own vehicles, they over charge for work, recommend unnecessary work, and the work they do is subpar. Horrible customer care, Mr Ford would be disappointed. More
Brought my 2018 F150 in because of a grinding noise in the left front wheel area. Once the mechanic identified the noise, he new exactly what it was. The noise was from the 4 wheel drive unit not seatin the left front wheel area. Once the mechanic identified the noise, he new exactly what it was. The noise was from the 4 wheel drive unit not seating properly in the hub. Fortunately, there was a Technical Service Bulletin regarding this very problem. Once the parts were received, it was only a day of installation. Due to the TSB , all parts and labor were free. Chris the service technician did an outstanding job of diagnosing and repairing the unit. Service writer Jigna Shah was great in coordinating the process. She kept me informed at each step. Got the truck back washed and cleaned too. Considering this could have been very costly for me. I'm thankful for Jigna and Chris researching the TBS. Excellent service all around. More
If I could give these people a zero stars I would and even that is giving them too much. I took my 2015 Ford Explore with only 52,000 miles on it in because my AC was blowing warm no matter how low I put even that is giving them too much. I took my 2015 Ford Explore with only 52,000 miles on it in because my AC was blowing warm no matter how low I put the temperature on 8/25. They diagnosed that the AC valves were leaking and needed to be replaced. I was advised that they would have to order the parts and it would take a couple of days. It’s been 2 weeks. I have called every single day 3-4 times a day and I am being told that they will have my service advisor Sean, will call me back. I NEVER get a call back. I feel like I am harassing these people to get a status update on MY CAR!!!! Not to mention when I finally do get through to Sean its always a different excuse. First he said it will a couple of days to order and get the parts, then he says that he has to order it from out of state, one part coming from Indiana and the other part is coming from DC. I said ok, then a few days goes by I call Sean to once again get a status update, I don’t get a phone call back until the Receptionist Patty leaves her post to run to the service dept to get an update for me. She then tells me that the one of the parts was lost in transition and the other one never even left the state. Mind, I’m having to rent a car in the meantime because I have to go to work. So far, I’ve paid $758 for a rental car all out of my own pocket. Then Sean tells me that he can have the parts come in “local” meaning somewhere in FL. I ask him once again how long would that take and he a couple of days and that this time he can set up my rental for those couple to a few days and they can bill the dealership. I said ok. So 2 days later I call the dealership again to once to get a status update on the parts. This time, Sean was off and I spoke to David-he said he was new and to allow him sometime to research what was going on, I said fine. David calls me back within a short period and tells me that they have one part and the other part is on back order. I tell him that I need to speak to the service manager because this is ridiculous. The service dept managers name is Richard Sweet, he basically reiterates what Sean and David says but no one is willing to do much of anything!!!! I still don’t have my car, I am out $758 from the rental that I paid, the frustration of not knowing when my car wi be ready. And to make matters worse, I tell Richard Sweet that I will pick up my car and he tells me that my car is on the rack-I said then take it off the rack and I will only pay for them diagnosing the problem but that is it. He tells me, give me an hour so that I can get a status update on the part. At this point I don’t know what to do because when someone owes you something or an explanation they drag their feet or give excuses but if you owe them something they want to get the law involved or not give you your property back. I’ve had better experiences with them. First off I made an appointment 3 weeks in advance and they didn’t even look at or attempt to call with an update. I only found out they didn’t touch it when attempt an appointment 3 weeks in advance and they didn’t even look at or attempt to call with an update. I only found out they didn’t touch it when attempting to pick up at end of day. Secondly, two of the main repairs I brought the vehicle in for were not fixed, so I will have to come back for additional repairs. It seems like they were more worried about the additional sell-up for recommend mileage items instead of what I asked for. The bad thing is I agreed to and had them complete all of the sell-ups; so they could have at least made sure the other stuff was right. More
