Not customer oriented. Was chastised for making an appointment in the afternoon (Friday) because it was close to closing time. Apparently you need to make an appointment convenient for the dealer and appointment in the afternoon (Friday) because it was close to closing time. I have taken my 2018 F150 to Auto Nation Ford approximately 6 times for warranty work and recalls. NOT ONCE HAVE I LEFT WITH MY TRUCK FIXED! Even repairs they have done that left the truck just a approximately 6 times for warranty work and recalls. NOT ONCE HAVE I LEFT WITH MY TRUCK FIXED! Even repairs they have done that left the truck just as broken as it was when I brought it in to be "fixed". I am a travel nurse and have to use my truck to commute for work and to travel across the country, when I am back home and take my truck back in to have things fixed they tell me I'm over on milage and my warranty doesn't cover it any longer. This same thing is about to happen to my truck for the recall work for the knocking in the motor at start up. I had the first recall step done up in New Jersey back in December and it didn't fix it. The dealer up there didn't have time to work me in to fix the problem with the replacement parts prior to my returning home and suggested I call Auto Nation Ford or Orange Park and schedule the repair and tell them that I had already had the reprogramming step done and needed the parts ordered to repair my truck, which I did sonce I am only to be home 2 weeks between jobs. Auto Nation Ford of Orange Park scheduled the appointment but did not order any parts. When I brought the truck in I was told that they "did the reprograming and it didn't work" which was untrue as it was already done at another dealership! I was then told that t"he parts would be ordered and expedited" and if I dropped my truck off a week later then let them keep it for 2 days they would have it repaired. After they had my truck for 30 hours they called me to say the parts are on back order. Not one person said anything about parts being on back order in the week between dealership visits, nor when I dropped my truck off, not to mention the customer service agent looked me dead in the eye and told me me parts were ordered and expedited a week prior. Standard operating procedure here is to lie to customers until they are able to charge the customer for work done rather than get paid by Ford for recall/warranty work! I hues they can charge us more than Ford will pay. STAY AWAY FROM THIS "SERVICE" DEPARTMENT!!!! More
I had to edit my good review.. I brought my RV in for a burning smell, AutoNation took it in after initially telling me to turn around and go home even after scheduling an appointment due to lack of space. burning smell, AutoNation took it in after initially telling me to turn around and go home even after scheduling an appointment due to lack of space. Spoke to a manager and they agreed on keeping it since I drove 40 minutes across town and took off from work to get it there. Tech "found" that the burning smell was due to a tire that was deflated and spinning on the rim and rubbing the tire next to it (dually). I asked for pictures and proof that the tires were rubbing and all I got was pictures. I asked when I returned to the shop to see the pictures and got a blank stare when I asked again. Took the RV home and went camping for the weekend where the first 10 minutes of camping I noticed the smell again. Turns out one of the house batteries was at fault, took them out and went to Autozone and replaced both batteries for $104 each. I sent an email to Jeremy and received no response. I'm down $800+ for a crappy diagnostic from a large Ford shop. More
