The service department is terrible. They do not answer the phone, return phone calls or call in a timely manner. Additionally, they forgot my car was there one day, another day my car sat at their service the phone, return phone calls or call in a timely manner. Additionally, they forgot my car was there one day, another day my car sat at their service department for a whole day before anyone looked at it, even though I had an appointment. To top it all off they lost my key fob and were unable to replace it, so I had to use my spare, then I took my car to another dealership. I kept calling autonation about getting a new key fob, but again, they don't answer and they don't return messages. I tried to give them many chances but after 3 awful visits, I am done. When I went to the other dealership they were able to fix my car, offered wonderful, communication and acted like they actually cared. They also got Autonation to finally replace my lost key fob. More
I would have given a 5 Star based on my service adviser, Mr Craddock. He was exceptional! He was patient, thorough and accurate in every interaction. The drawback is the lack of support staffing. Appeared to be only 3 advisers at any one time, and they had to ferry the customers cars in for them because no one else was available. I've been trying to have my truck repaired (a 4 hour job by the way) for over a year now. I brought my truck in to have AutoNation Ford Orange Park look at an issue i was having with it. They checked the truck in and said i would hear from them later that day. After not hearing from anyone i called and spoke with Jeremy only to be told they didn't look at it yet and they would look at it tomorrow and let me know. This went on for about a week with no one looking at it and finally i told Jeremy that i need my truck for transportation he said come pick it up for the weekend and bring it back Monday. I brought it back Monday and it sat again until Friday with no communication. I called again Friday morning and he said he would have someone look at it that morning. I called later that afternoon and he said they found where the problem is and needed to contact the warranty company to get approval to order the parts and he would let me know once approved. Another week passes still with no word from Jeremy i call to check on the warranty outcome and Jeremy says they approved the warranty and he would get the parts ordered. I said great, how long before you get the parts, he said he didn't know could be a couple days, a week or even a month. I said i need my truck back until the parts come in, they said ok they would let me know when the parts arrived. About a month and a half goes by and i get a call from Jeremy saying the parts are in could i bring my truck in on Monday. I dropped it off with Jeremy on Monday and he said he would give me an update later that day. After not receiving a call i call Jeremy he says they didn't get to it today but would start on it tomorrow or the next day. Friday rolls around again, i call Jeremy only to find out that he ordered the wrong parts and that the parts he needs are on backorder and doesn't know when they will be in. I told them to have my truck ready for me to pick up later that day. After picking my truck up i waited 6 to 7 months calling periodically. Finally i called my sales person Walt (who is a wonderful salesperson) and asked what parts that they were ordering that they couldn't get and he says he believes they just got the parts in. Walt calls me a couple days later and says they did get the parts in and to bring the truck in Monday. I brought the truck Monday and told Jeremy i didn't want to leave my truck unless they were going to start working on it he said he would see what they could do and he would call me later to give me an update. Around 4pm no communication from Jeremy i call and he says they didn't get to it, i said here we go again. This goes on until Thursday, i call Jeremy and he says my truck might be looked at today or tomorrow or maybe not until next week. I got pretty upset and ended the call. I waited about 15 minutes after that call to call Jeremy's boss, while i was on hold Jeremy answered the phone and asked if i needed something and i said yes to speak with your boss since i cant get a straight answer from you, he said hold on, gets back on the phone after about 30 seconds and says your truck will be fixed today and i could pick it up that evening. This guy Jeremy at AutoNation Ford Orange Park truck shop is the worst i have ever had to deal with. Do yourself a favor and have your truck serviced elsewhere. More
