Was advised to take my truck to Ford dealership due to the fact that the place I took it to could not help me. Took truck to AutoNation, Ms Whitehead was first to assist my needs. She told me what I needed to do and walked me through the process. Kept me informed with the status and possible issues that could pop up. I expected that I would not see my truck for about 3 weeks. But 2 days later, bam Ms Whitehead called saying I could pick up my truck next day afternoon. Wow, done and not the $$$$ I expected. More
The customer service at Autonation Ford is not focussed on thinking through the situation and providing customer orientated solutions. Recalls should not cost the client, if the temporary fix I did, was due to your recall situation created by Ford failures. This dealership had a 2 week lead time to get my recall done. When I brought the vehicle for the appointment they needed to order parts. When I asked the service person why the delay in parts, when the appointment scheduler said they needed the 2 weeks to get parts, she said they did not tell me the truth and parts are not ordered until the recall is viewed. That is a non customer focussed solution, not to mention counter productive as Ford pays for the recall and it haws to be done. I put a stopper on the brake switch to stop the brake lights from staying on 24x7, and to stop the loss power from the switch being out. Autonation claims I damaged the switch and had to pay for it. I would never have had to correct this situation on the fly if they had a correct part. I had to press repeatedly to get Autonation to call the warranty company because it was not listed in their system as the vehicle was 30 days old to me. They finally called and put in as much effort as you would expect. I did pay them in full and gladly pulled out of the shop. I should have known better last year I was buying a used charger from them and the sales person I was happily dealing with told me since I had inquired online he was sharing commission with an online rep that I did not want to deal with as he was non responsive. I left the dealership and the vehicle I wanted sitting there. I have never posted a review but this dealership needs a new direction in leadership. More
