He excused himself and a few minutes later, Clarence returned and told us he had the car pulled up outside. After telling us all about the car we drove it and knew this was the car for us. Unfortunately, sometime between meeting my salesman and sitting down with my finance guy, the price to sell jumped a few times. My questions and negotiations turned my two new best friends into a couple of guys who didn't want to waste any more of their time with me. Frustrated, I went back to my computer and broadened my search area. After submitting an online form to Mike Shad, I received a professional and courteous email response in not time at all. I spoke with Jack and Steve a number of times about the features that interested me, and neither grew tired or frustrated with me; they were patient and professional and never made me feel inferior or intimidated with my questions. By the time I arrived at the dealership, Jack knew what I wanted, and we were able to quickly find the Edge that was right for me. He even went the extra mile and explained the technological features of the SYNC and My Ford Touch (this wasn't covered in any detail at the first dealership I visited). Much to my delight, there was no price jump between the time of our initial contact and our negotiations. There were no hidden fees and the price and terms were easily negotiated and the financing was laid out in an easy to understand format. My new vehicle was delivered to me clean and with a full tank of gas. Before leaving the dealership, Jack took the time to sync my phone, review some of the key technology features, and provide me with useful online resources for reference. It's been a couple of weeks since I purchased my new Edge, and I have no regrets or complaints. I've even been in contact with Jack since I took delivery with more questions about some of the features, some new questions and some I needed to cover again. Jack took the time to answer all of my questions and gave me the sense of assurance that my decision to buy from Mike Shad was the right decision. I have been dealing with Bill Norris for the past 6 years and he has always been helpful. I drive 45 minutes to Mike Shad just because I know that he will take care of my investment. The first person I met when I arrived was Steve Estes, who greeted me with a handshake and asked me inside to see what I was looking for, etc. Not only did we quickly find what I was looking for, but Steve helped negotiate the price to meet what I could afford and made sure all pertinent information was disclosed prior to signing, etc. In addition to being very helpful upfront, Steve kept in touch with me while my car was in delivery and made sure I knew when it had arrived immediately. For the most part, the car itself has been great, and my overall experience was equally as great. More

This was my very first time buying a car from a dealership, let alone a new car. So I was worried about feeling pressured into something right away. Kat came out and was extremely friendly, asked w dealership, let alone a new car. So I was worried about feeling pressured into something right away. Kat came out and was extremely friendly, asked what my husband and I were interested in (Ford Fusion) and showed it to us right away as well as some other options (New and Certified Used. Let us test drive the 2012 Fusion on the city roads and the freeway, showed us all the gadgets and explained how they worked. When it came to the end of the visit we explained that we wanted to check out some other places and do a little more research. She understood and didn't make us feel as if we needed to make a decision right away. We were very impressed and decided on the way home that she was who we wanted to deal with and buy a car from. She even took a picture of the car "hidden" in the back of the parking lot, waiting for us, and texted it to us after we called and told her we were going to stop in the next day to work out the details and we wanted the car. She also was able to get us a really great deal on getting the windows tinted. After the financing was taken care of and the car was officially ours, she took us outside and walked us through how to set up SYNC with my phone and how to operate all the other gadgets that were included in the car. 10 days later she did a follow up on how things were with the car and how we were liking it. That day I had woken up to my car being flooded (Half underwater while I was still living in New Orleans, LA at the time). She immediately began looking for a new car, exactly the same as I had, for me. She found a couple different options and emailed them to me for me to choose. Between Kat and the rest of the Mike Shad team I had a new car ready for me to pick up when I moved to Florida 3 weeks later. She had even offered to drive the 8 hour drive from Jacksonville to New Orleans to drop my "new" new car off for me so I didn't have to be without a car. My husband and I will definitely return to Mike Shad Ford and work with Kat again. They for sure have returning customers in us. They are honest, friendly, and will work with you and try to get you the best deal possible. I recommend this dealership and Kat to everyone I know that is looking to buy a car in the Jacksonville, FL area!!!!!!!! More
