I came in to get a key made for my F250. . They quoted me $400 on the phone, then when I drove my F250 up there, I waited and waited, without being greeted, and finally tried to grab someone . They quoted me $400 on the phone, then when I drove my F250 up there, I waited and waited, without being greeted, and finally tried to grab someone to get them to talk to me. David told me he would be required to make 2 keys - at $400 each. I already had one functioning key, and did not need 2. He said he could not make just one key. I went to a competitor, Ryan Ford in Sealy (25 miles away) who not only made me just one key, they only charged $259 out the door. This is not the place I would take my vehicle, nor would I buy anything here. Go somewhere else where you can find honest people in Service. More
Overall the dealership seems to be efficient on handling most things and any questions that we have had. Our sales rep Oscar however has not been as helpful. However, When we were told that they could not rotate the tires because the Lugnuts had swollen and they cannot get them off, we were disappointed. They could be replaced for $160 which is unheard of!!! This seems to be a manufacturing error by Ford because no other car I’ve ever had has had this problem. So instead of buying lug nuts there, we went to a discount tire store and got all of them replaced and tires rotated for $50. So not only were you over the top on pricing your error but you couldn’t even do it without charging. I find that ridiculous —— if it’s your error you should’veCorrected it. More
Katy Ford has done great work with my car, which I bought from them new 2.5 years ago. Only downside and reason for 4 and not 5 stars: service takes quite a while. Was my first time to leave the dealership unhappy. After my oil change and rotation in my car, that bought with you 16 months ago, my car was dripping oil 3 consecutive days (I have the pictures) for After my oil change and rotation in my car, that bought with you 16 months ago, my car was dripping oil 3 consecutive days (I have the pictures) for that reason I came back to the dealership in order to fix the problem. Brandon Diaz made me feel non welcome and he was kind of rude with me. Brandon told me that the service will take 1 hour and he will call me when the car is ready. After 4 hours, I did not hear anything from him, so I called Ford to know the status of my car, and someone told me that the car was ready. When I went to pick up my car he just ignore me. When finally he talk to me, he told me that they just clean it and nothing was wrong, even when I show him the pictures on 3 consecutive days of dripping. He was traying to convened me that that was normal, that was ridiculous and make non sense, it is not my firs car, neither my first time changing the oil, so when Brandon told me it is "normal" that amount of oil dripping for 3 days. That was kind of offensive to my intelligence and experience of a 57 years old men. Then when he told me you can take your car when they bring it to the front, but did not give me any paper to give the car to me, the guy who broth the car request a document to give me my own car, but Brando did not give me any. I was waiting "again" for somebody to find Brandon and he never appeared, so somebody did his job and got my car. That was ridiculous!!! My car is not dripping oil so far, so we will see. I was really happy with the purchase of my vehicle here. But the service for oil change is discouraging. I have been here 4 times for an oil change and each time the price changes for the higher each time, But the service for oil change is discouraging. I have been here 4 times for an oil change and each time the price changes for the higher each time, even though I get the same “works package” or bring a coupon. The service reps don’t tell you the price until you pick up your car and it’s too late to discuss the price. I also don’t like that you don’t get a print out of the “multipoint inspection.” More
