An AWFUL experience. After this I will never buy or service my vehicle at Autonation Ford Katy. My car was there for over a month for a one day job. We repeatedly called for a status which was supposed to be texted to us and would only get a status after stating that we were going to have to escalate the situation. The manager does not speak to customers and when we went up there the second time (after no returned phone calls or voicemails were made) he wouldn’t even look us in the eye and couldn’t tell us what was going on with my car. We were never told why it took so long, waiting on parts? Short staffed? We don’t know. We would have understood. We were kind but firm about getting answers. For 3 weeks we were told our car would be done and home to us and it wasn’t until about 35-40 days later. Then came the apologies and excuses. We still don’t know why my car took so long. We never raised our voices or became THAT customer. The DAY I got my car back as I was driving home the sunroof shattered to pieces. I don’t know if it’s just coincidence or something that happened there. But do not go to autonation, Ryan ford in sealy is better. Daniel was our first service tech who ended up going on vacation without telling us and Randy took over. I am a mom of 4 and a business owner and being without a car was a huge stressor on us. I would give 0 stars if I could. More

I thought it would take them two days to handle both recalls on our 2016 Expedition but they handled them both in about 8 hours. Great work. recalls on our 2016 Expedition but they handled them both in about 8 hours. Great work. More

Was told it would be 2-3 hours for oil change. Asked about a “loss of oil pressure” warning and was told “it’s either the sensor or you need a new engine but we can’t diagnose that unless you leave your truck here for a week.” Took shuttle home and as soon as I arrived got a phone call my truck was ready. The fact you can have an appointment for an oil change but be told it’s going to be multiple hours to complete a 20 min job is ridiculous. The fact that they are more or less discouraging you from getting your car repaired or diagnosed by telling you it’s going to take a week to find out what is causing an error message is ridiculous. Terrible experience overall. More
