But simultaneously I had both my batteries on my 2020 F-250 fail last week because of a failed part called an insert. I have the premium warranty. The best you can get. But because batteries are not covered because of being considered maintenance, I had to pay for them. The insert part failed, that caused the batteries to think the truck was always on. I argued that it wasn't a maintenance issue but a covered warrant part that failed to cause it. I was disappointed to hear that they were not going to take care of it and I had to buy the 2 new batteries. I asked the warranty manager to act like he was explaining this to his young kids and how he would explain to them how it was right. He had no answer. And that is because he did not do the right thing. I always have gotten VIP service from Von Wil in Wharton and Helfman in Stafford. Unfortunately the Autonation service manager chose the wrong decision. More

An AWFUL experience. After this I will never buy or service my vehicle at Autonation Ford Katy. My car was there for over a month for a one day job. We repeatedly called After this I will never buy or service my vehicle at Autonation Ford Katy. My car was there for over a month for a one day job. We repeatedly called for a status which was supposed to be texted to us and would only get a status after stating that we were going to have to escalate the situation. The manager does not speak to customers and when we went up there the second time (after no returned phone calls or voicemails were made) he wouldn’t even look us in the eye and couldn’t tell us what was going on with my car. We were never told why it took so long, waiting on parts? Short staffed? We don’t know. We would have understood. We were kind but firm about getting answers. For 3 weeks we were told our car would be done and home to us and it wasn’t until about 35-40 days later. Then came the apologies and excuses. We still don’t know why my car took so long. We never raised our voices or became THAT customer. The DAY I got my car back as I was driving home the sunroof shattered to pieces. I don’t know if it’s just coincidence or something that happened there. But do not go to autonation, Ryan ford in sealy is better. Daniel was our first service tech who ended up going on vacation without telling us and Randy took over. I am a mom of 4 and a business owner and being without a car was a huge stressor on us. I would give 0 stars if I could. More
