When I dropped off my car, the initial meeting with the service rep was confusing and unsatisfactory. The next day I met with Rick the service manager - he could not have been nicer, very understanding and service rep was confusing and unsatisfactory. I had to take my Mustang MachE to the shop to get a recall part fixed, which Auto Nation Ford Katy had my car for 5 days (Monday-Friday). I dropped it off on a Monday morning at 8am and picked it up o recall part fixed, which Auto Nation Ford Katy had my car for 5 days (Monday-Friday). I dropped it off on a Monday morning at 8am and picked it up on Friday around 12pm. Auto Nation had a text communication system which was great, yet the communication with my car was little to none. I was the one that had to text the system to get updates. After Auto Nation having the car for the first 4 days, I texted again, which I was told that my car was ready to be picked up. Now, when picking up my car on the Friday and getting my keys, I then was told that I had to bring it back in because a part was not available and they did not know when that part would be available. This information would have been great to hear earlier during the week and not at the time of picking it up. So my car was just sitting outside somewhere. At no time did anyone give me a heads up that I would have to bring back my car to the shop. When I tried to find out more about this missing part, I was given very little information as if they were too busy to tell me anything. I asked, when and who would call me when this part comes in and I was told "I don't know", but someone will call. Not being happy, I got my keys and headed out. What really made me upset is that once I got to my car, it was super dirty. When I dropped it off on that Monday morning, it was super clean both inside and out. When I picked it up, it was filthy. I'm not a happy customer. Now, on the sales part... I'm in the process of looking to purchase a Bronco. I spoke to three sales people and all three had the same issue, lack of communication. The first one told me "I'm with another customer and will check on what you are wanting later. To this day, I still have not heard back from him. I then called the second sales person, saying I know what I want, can you help me. Now, of course, he says "yes". I told him about the first guy and once again, this second sale man took another two days with no information. He kept telling me that he's getting all the information/numbers, yet he never got it. I finally responded to him by saying I'm moving on, which he responds by saying "ok". When calling the 3rd sales person, I told him about my experience with the first two guys. I mentioned that they must be selling many cars, because no one wanted to make a sale. He promised that he would help me. This 3rd guy was named Michael Munevar (I do not remember the first two sale people). Once again, this guy said that he sent me an email. I kept saying that I did not get anything. I even gave him two email addresses. Now, to be fair, I only dealt with the 3rd guy for one day, which was yesterday (Thursday). When I woke up this morning, I texted him again asking about the emails, because he never responded. Do you think I got a response... Nope! Now, when picking up my car from the service department, I texted the Michael to let him know that his and Auto Nation Ford's communication needs a lot of work and that I'm moving on to another dealership. Quick back story... About a year ago, I went to this dealership to look into purchasing a Mustang for my son and a MachE for myself. I spoke with a guy and I guess he did not think I would buy two cars. He wasn't too responsive, which I left and purchased these two cars from another Ford dealership, which is the car I have now. The only reason I came back is because I live in Katy and the dealership is in Katy. More
