Imade an appoint with AutoNation Ford Katy TX the 26th of February. I was the first of three Ford vehicles to enter the service bay at 7:00AM. Later that day the mechanic text me a photo of my vehicle just as I had left it. No work was being done. The following day I called the service department to see if it was done. He said if I want the switch repaired its $539.00 . Now I know I can buy this switch for $24 and install it in a few minutes so I said when can I pick it up, I do not want it repaired the price is too much he said give me an hour. So I picked it up 30 hours after I took it in for a simple diagnosis. For the simple diagnosis which the service manager said took an hour as they had to take the door apart I was billed and paid $104.96 Fist of all they did not take the door apart. Anyone knows you simply pop the old switch out and plug in a new one. 5 minutes tops. So the service advisor does not know his job. If the mechanic said he took the door apart he is lying. It was not touched. After writing a negative review they asked me on their Google docs email to me they texted me and wanted to make a resolutio... (message cutoff) but gave me a phone # to call. (281)305-8949. The only practical choice was #6. which puts you back at the "Thank You for Calling" prompt and again giving you 6 choices or hold for operator. I did this 3 times as the hold for operator choice puts you right back to "Thank You for Calling". Ah I finally caught on. They really gave me this number to give me the run around just like I got from the service department. Really in 30 hours FORD builds over 30 vehicles. Finally I bought a genuine Motorcraft part from Rock Auto online and will pop the bad one out and replace then new one in 5 minutes. I purchased a vehicle from AutoNation ford Katy back in 2021. At the time of purchase, I was talked into buying a vehicle protection plan. I was given a brochure on it, told to wait till just before my bumper to bumper warranty was about to expire, and bring the car in to have the things listed in the brochure replaced. That time has come, and not there are all these stipulations on this plan. Like I explained to the gentleman at the dealership, its nice to be told one thing on all these add ons, then when you agree, that is when they give you the paperwork in regards to it wrapped up with all the rest of the paperwork. Who thinks to go back and look. Now they don't want to adhere to the word of their salespeople, and of course, they no longer work there. One bit of advice, do not go for any of these dealership add ons - they hope you forget, or find some loophole so they don't have to do the work. Forget about trying to get a hold of anybody in management. They ignore and hope the problem will go away. More

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the recent, and frankly unacceptable, customer service experience I have encountered at AutoNation Ford Katy. As a loyal customer who has purchased multiple vehicles from your dealership, I am disheartened to see such a significant decline in the quality of service. On October 23rd, my 2021 F-150 began experiencing computer system malfunctions. Despite towing the vehicle to your dealership on October 30th, I was not informed of additional towing fees and was left in the dark regarding the status of my vehicle for days. I repeatedly had to initiate contact to receive updates, and my requests for a manager's call were ignored. On November 4th, I was finally informed of a faulty gateway module, covered by the extended warranty. However, I was also told that the battery needed replacement, despite a pre-tow inspection indicating sufficient charge. This unnecessary expense, coupled with the ongoing delays and lack of communication, has been incredibly frustrating. As the days passed, the situation worsened. On November 11th, I was informed that the technician had not shown up for work, further delaying the repair process. The following day, I had to personally verify the status of my vehicle and, upon arrival, discovered that the promised technician was absent. The culmination of these issues, including disrespectful interactions with staff and the discovery of gasoline fumes in my vehicle upon pickup, has left me feeling completely disregarded and disrespected. I have never experienced such a level of poor customer service. I am deeply concerned that this is not an isolated incident, but rather indicative of a systemic problem within your organization. I urge you to take immediate action to address these issues and implement measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future. More
My wife and I purchased a new Explorer in 2018 and purchased the oil changes at that time. My wife does not drive much and the vehicle only has 30K miles on it. When I went in to have her oil changed on Saturday November 2, 2024 I was told the oil changes had expired in December 2023. I purchased these oil changes so they should never expire. The service tech said that how it was and that I would have to discuss this with the finance manager. He also told me that an oil change would cost me $120 if I wanted it done. Needless to say I told him no. I will be contacting the finance manager and whomever is in change of the dealership. This is horrible customer service. More
I have brand new 24 maverick. I wanted to use this dealership for future service as it is closest to my house . I experienced poor communication from the service dept. No call to advise when vehicle was ready. Two messages left and no return calls.
