Had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Service advisor was at his/her station and never looked up to say anything as I walked in. Once Sue finished with her customer, she looked up my appointment and told my assigned advisor that I was there. He/she then greeted me by saying, "I'm ok, how are you?" Not a deal-breaker, but an odd way to start off the check-in. Specifically asked if the tire pressure would be checked because I knew it was low, and the last time I was in, it wasn't done. This is the second time that air has not been checked during an oil change. My vehicle wasn't ready until 5pm, when it was dropped off at 1:30. Obviously, I dropped it off so I didn't expect it to be done quickly, but I don't want to hang around all afternoon waiting for it to be completed either. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, my service advisor was talking to another employee and never once even glanced over to his/her station to see if anyone was waiting. After 4 minutes, another advisor hollered down that someone would be right with and I continued to wait another 2 minutes before he/she noticed I was there. I don't seek to get him/her in trouble specifically, but why is there such a lackadaisical attitude when there are customers buzzing in and out constantly? Maybe there should be someone who is responsible for greeting and acknowledging customers and they enter? I take the car to the dealership because I have more confidence in the work being done by the actual dealer. But, 3.5 hours for an oil change, $94, an unfriendly advisor and the lack of air pressure check twice will make this the last time I bother. My husband brings his car to Jiffy Lube. The price is comparable. They are always extremely welcoming and friendly. You can see them actually completing the things that are supposed to be checked off during an oil change (washer fluid, tire pressure, vehicle lights etc.), and they are much more timely. I'm not sure who Lisa Parasrami is, but I did not have any interaction with anyone named Lisa and would hate for this review to be a reflection upon her. More

The service department at AutoNation Ford Jacksonville is the best I have ever witnessed. I recently moved to the area & dreaded finding a new dealership. I had been with my old dealer for many years & many the best I have ever witnessed. I recently moved to the area & dreaded finding a new dealership. I had been with my old dealer for many years & many vehicles. I must say, I was amazed at the way I was treated. Gary Chaney & the service team treated me in such a friendly & professional manner. I couldn't believe, for a first time customer, I came away feeling so "at home" with my new dealership. I cannot remember, the last time I received such great customer service at a dealership! So thankful, there are still good people, doing their best, to make customers satisfied. Give them a chance, I don't think you will regret it! More
Ranae' Whitehead is our service Advisor. We had to make an emergency stop because of a break issue. She not only was able to have a mechanic resolve our problem but did not charge us..
