Check in process could use some help. I showed up at my scheduled time which was an early appointment so I wouldn't have any delays. 5 people sitting behind desks with only one of them actually doing anyth scheduled time which was an early appointment so I wouldn't have any delays. 5 people sitting behind desks with only one of them actually doing anything to help the customers standing around. The one poor women doing all of the work continuously saying I'll be right with you. The other 4 people would not even look at us or begin to give us the time of day much less help. I think I might have to travel a little further down the road next time to the other Ford dealer. More

First of all they left the positive uncovered which could spark an electrical fire if shorted out Second they damaged my rear service light assembly and Jose (sp) service assured me that he would order the spark an electrical fire if shorted out Second they damaged my rear service light assembly and Jose (sp) service assured me that he would order the part and fix it but they dodged me the next day and the GM also got amnesia and toyed and played games with me Thirdly they wasted my time and gas having me come back just to run game and tell me they would not honor their agreement to replace the rear brak assembly that got damage. Fourthly, they toyed with me thereby wasting my time and acted in bad faith by not repairing the equipment light assembly that got damaged that they tried to pass off on me … More
I came in because my windshield wiper spray did not work. It would not spray fluid on to the windshield. I had to leave the vehicle overnight so that the part could be ordered and installed. Also, my wipe It would not spray fluid on to the windshield. I had to leave the vehicle overnight so that the part could be ordered and installed. Also, my wipers were hitting the edge of the truck and making a noise. There was also a recall notice on my 2021 F150. When I picked up my vehicle, the windshield wiper fluid was empty and the service writer had to ask me to wait and take the truck back to the Service area to get the fluid filled. Which took several more minutes, making me late getting back to work. When it rain the next few days, the wipers stilled hit the side of the truck making a noise. More
My overall experience with Gulf Freeway AutoNation has been good. I purchased my vehicle there and have had some minor recall work done also. My last experience with their service department was not so go been good. I purchased my vehicle there and have had some minor recall work done also. My last experience with their service department was not so good. I received three notifications via USPS that a recall notice had been issued for my vehicle. After each notice, I called the phone number on the notification once or twice and left phone messages requesting a call back with information on the nature of the recall(s). I finally learned what the recalls involved and scheduled an appointment for a quick visual inspection of three minor recall items to see if repairs would be needed during a future appointment. Actual inspection time was probably no more than 15 minutes. I was given an estimate of less than 1 hour when checking in at my scheduled appointment time. Four hours after my appointment time, my vehicle was returned to me. I was not kept up to date on the status of my vehicle as promised by the service rep; not even in response to a request for an update after 3 hours in the waiting room. In response to a query about why the inspection took so long, I was informed that the reservation only applied to the service desk and not to the shop; first come first served. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if it’s first come first served? If I knew before hand that it would take 4 hours to perform a quick visual inspection, I would have planned accordingly. The combination of unreturned phone calls and failure to provide an accurate time estimate or timely status updates makes me wonder what has changed in the service department to cause such a lower degree of satisfaction versus my previous experiences with the service department.
