Process getting the car was easy— I knew what I wanted and told the sales guy. They had everything ready when we got there to sign papers! I started my car search online with car gurus. I found a used wrangler that I loved, contacted the dealer and they contacted me back right away. The next day I was approved for the vehicle, and th I found a used wrangler that I loved, contacted the dealer and they contacted me back right away. The next day I was approved for the vehicle, and they told me we could come in, drive it, and sign paperwork and take the vehicle. We drove 1.5 hrs from Katy to South Houston, and upon arrival, we were told the car actually had not been inspected, and we would have to sign paperwork and come back another day once the vehicle was ready. We were assured that if something came back wrong, we had 5 days to return the vehicle, and get our money back (we had a large down payment, so this made us very nervous). Against our better judgement, we agreed, signed paperwork, and we went home. The next day we were told the wrangler was ready, and we could come pick it up. When I came, I asked why I didn’t receive any paperwork for my loan. I have no idea who to pay, when the first payment is, and NO DOCUMENTS that show I even purchased the vehicle. I was assured the finance manager would email me them. So again, I left and went home - 1.5 hrs away. Once I got home, I realized there was no temporary license plate which is illegal, and since I don’t have loan documents, I have no proof I am the actual owner. I texted the salesman Jose, and he was very kind to drop off the temporary tag, but once again, without paperwork. I have requested these documents 4 times now, and no one will provide them. I love my purchase, however that’s because I did the research and found it on my own. The customer service and lack of attention to detail makes me wonder what is going on. I was told they would get to it once they were done with their other customers, and also provide the service documents from the oil change and inspection once the ticket was closed, but I AM a paying customer, and honestly, it’s absolutely ridiculous. It’s been almost a week, and they still have not given me my loan documents or service documents. More
