Autonation Ford Frisco is a very professional and top notch team of experts. Every step of the way my vehicle was in for service they kept me informed. I was never left guessing what was occurring. With notch team of experts. Every step of the way my vehicle was in for service they kept me informed. I was never left guessing what was occurring. With a parts shortage and extended times without my vehicle Autonation went above and beyond to keep me satisfied. Need to give a special shout out to Travis Hendershott as he was the representative i was working with. He is a friendly, knowledgeable and very professional representative for Autonation. I would highly recommend Autonation Ford Frisco for service and purchase of any Ford vehicle. More
My experience with the AutoNation service department was extremely poor. While getting an oil change on a Saturday I also mentioned a Tire Pressure Sensor error I had. The service representative checked i extremely poor. While getting an oil change on a Saturday I also mentioned a Tire Pressure Sensor error I had. The service representative checked inventory and told me he would have to order the part and that he would call me. He expected the part to be in the next Monday or Tuesday. By the next Saturday I still had not heard from him in spite of calling several times, writing an email and calling the service department main line (I left a voice message that was never returned). I eventually took my car to Bob Tomes Ford in McKinney and had it fixed there. Bob Tomes Ford is a much further drive for service than AutoNation (30 minutes to BTF versus 5 minutes to AutoNation) but the quality of service I received at both locations prompts me to drive the further distance. Very poor marks AutoNation. More
I made an appointment and spent 2 days trying to get a hold of the service advisor I was assigned to. When I dropped my car off he told me it wouldn’t be touched for 2 days. I told him about the issue and hold of the service advisor I was assigned to. When I dropped my car off he told me it wouldn’t be touched for 2 days. I told him about the issue and an extended warranty, to which he said he was familiar with. I finally get a text with video and pictures, and since I didn’t have time to watch the video, I looked at the photos and was in near tears - it showed my vehicle needing new tires (mine are just barely a year old) and it showed my brakes being bad along with air filter needing replaced. I was in a tizzy and panicking due to all these issues. I finally watched the video only to find out the video said my brakes and tires were great. Upon closer inspection, I realized the advisor sent the WRONG photos. It wasn’t even my car. I called and asked him about it as well as the issue I brought it in for. He blamed the mechanics for the mis-matched photos. Later I received a quote - and what I thought was warranty was over $900! I called the service manager and told him everything. He said he would look into it and call me back. A short while later I was called by another service advisor who had taken over my case. He was actually really good and gave good guidance. I still cried hearing that my car was made 36 days past the cut-off for the extended warranty so it was not covered, even though it was made in the same factory as the known issue. I also asked for my car to be appraised at that point, as I was taking other necessary steps to try and see if there was any lead way for my car. Two days later I stop by the dealership to check on my car. The advisor was gone for the day. The sales guy I had briefly spoken to was there and I found out my car had NOT been appraised, even though the service advisor requested it. I was frustrated because the agency I had to file a complaint with about the extended warranty told me I wouldn’t hear back for 6-8 weeks. By this time I’m in near tears again, frustrated, feeling helpless. I leave the dealership. They finally appraised my car, but by this time, my husband wanted us to bring my car home. I bring my husband back to get my car and find out there’s a $165 charge for diagnostics that I wasn’t told about. I made a comment that I wasn’t told about it and the person helping me shrugged it off as if it wasn’t a big deal to him. After all I had been through that week, it was a HUGE deal to me. My husband said pay so we can get the car out. I paid, but after all I had been through, I wish they would have had some sort of empathy for our situation. It still frustrates me that after everything, and especially since I wasn’t told about the fee at drop-off, I had to pay it. I won’t be back, and do not recommend. I even responded to a follow-up text expressing my concerns and no one reached out to discuss it. It’s really frustrating and disappointing. More
My experience with this location was “OK”. I am a first time car buyer & it was my first time bringing my car into service. The service that I received was simply OK, nothing spectacular. My a I am a first time car buyer & it was my first time bringing my car into service. The service that I received was simply OK, nothing spectacular. My appointment was not on time, however I was happy receive my car back on the same day. I did assume that with it being my first time, I would have gotten an explanation of the works done or the other services offered, or a 30 second car wash. More
