Took my vehicle in for a minor repair - replacing passenger mirror. Was working with my insurance company and AutoNation Ford came back $200 over what Farmers said was fair for the repair. I asked AutoNation if they would fix the vehicle based on what insurance would support and they never responded. I waited 2 full days and left messages with the service technician as well as the Service Director asking them to let me know if they would honor that price or not. I was fine either way - I just needed to know if I should leave my car there to be fixed or if I should come pick it up and move it to a place that would fix my car for that price. I never heard back from anyone. This is poor service. Just plain poor. I don't care how busy you are - not responding to your customer's questions in 2 days is insufficient. If they had contacted me and let me know they wouldn't honor the insurance price, I would have been FINE with that. No issues - I would have happily come up and picked up my car. But with no communication at all, I wasted 2 days where I could have been getting my car fixed by someone else. I find this unacceptable. More

I needed an Oil & Filter change for my Ford F150 and with no appointment, I got it done quickly. Daisy, my service advisor, was extremely helpful, she explained to me all the maintenance needed for my truck no appointment, I got it done quickly. I made an oil change appointment a week ago and yesterday when I brought the car, they made me wait 2 hrs to find out the had not ordered the filter. They told me it would take 30min to get the filter and th when I brought the car, they made me wait 2 hrs to find out the had not ordered the filter. They told me it would take 30min to get the filter and they had me wait another 2 hrs to let me know they ordered the wrong part. They sent me home un lyft and sent for me some hrs later, so I could pick up the car. This disrupted my whole day. The lady at front desk was great and I was not charged, but the process is clearly broken. They need to know what parts they have to order and do so before you get there! And if they make a mistake they should send the car to your house and not make you pick it up. More
