If I could give negative stars, I would. Saw a beautiful 2021 Subaru WRX premium online. Sent an email on Saturday night showing interest in the vehicle. Get a fairly quick respo Saw a beautiful 2021 Subaru WRX premium online. Sent an email on Saturday night showing interest in the vehicle. Get a fairly quick response back from Dave Williams. Dave said he would get with me on Monday to make sure it’s available and take a look at it so we can start making a deal. On Monday we hash out a deal, and I agreed to buy it on . I also ask him if there’s any modifications or anything out of the ordinary with the car. Dave says he will check in the morning and get back with me. Tuesday morning rolls around and he’s asking for a picture of the check. On Tuesday I get a loan from my bank completed, I book a flight from Tulsa to Dallas, and reserve a rental car to get me and my daughter to the dealership. On Wednesday, 12 hours before my flight, I get a call from Dave saying a hail storm had come through and put a “little bit” of hail damage on the hood of the car. Being a suspicious person I do a quick Google search and learn the last hail storm in that area was June 23 2023. Dave tells me the car will not be ready until Saturday. Dave doesn’t appreciate the fact that changes to flights must be made 24 hours before travel time. Again being suspicious, I ask him who’s fixing the car. Dave tells me Auto Masters 10 miles down the road has it and is currently working on it. WVEN SENDS A PICTURE OF A CERTIFICATE FROM DENT MASTERS. So I called Dent masters and speak to the owner. Mr. Phillips tells me he does not have the car, he does not have any work orders from Ford AutoNation and that the only business he conducts with them is when buying parts. When I tell him about the certificate he says someone is either pretending to be him or I’m being lied to. I call Ford Autonation and speak to the manager. The manager says “no no no we have our own PDR guy!” When confronted about the hail storm almost a month ago, tells me that they are fixing them as they sell and I’m in line. I ask how many customers he has traveling 261 miles away. He doesn’t answer. The manager says I can still come down tomorrow, look at it, MAYBE drive it, if I still want it they will cut me a check for $2300 since that is what the insurance appraised it for and paid them. I ask for pictures so I’m an have my body guy look at them and give me an estimate of repair costs. He says okay. Manager calls me back and says can’t get pictured because it is in the shop being repaired. Says I can still come down look at it, probably not drive or and if I still want it they will finish the repair and ship it to me free of charge. At this point, I have lost total faith and trust in this dealership. I was in the car business for nearly a decade and never seen or heard of a customer being treated like this. The level of dishonesty displayed by Ford AutoNation is the worst I have experienced. If Dave would have actually looked at the car when asked he would have noticed that it needed pdr and informed me. If I would have received the call on Tuesday I would have been frustrated, but understanding. No harm… no review. I would have also been thankful I was saved money on 2 now wasted plane tickets to Dallas. It’s possible I would have still traveled there Saturday to look at the car. This is the absolute worst way to treat people. I hope all reading this review take note and hopefully avoid this treatment and apathy. If you are thinking about doing business with Ford , Autonation, I would highly caution you. More
