Dropped my car off to have the AC repaired, ride was provided to drop me off and bring me back. Everything went smoothly, though repair was expensive. If there is something that needs to be addressed provided to drop me off and bring me back. Everything went smoothly, though repair was expensive. If there is something that needs to be addressed, it's the way service is conducted now. This dealership moved to an "appointment" based model, I'm assuming it's some corporate fiscally driven decision from higher up. The turn around time is horrible now, simple oil changes require 1/2 the day, where as 2 years ago I could come in and leave in 1 hour. More
AutoNation Ford Frisco, Texas is the most dishonest car dealership I’ve ever seen. They offer bogus 5-day test drive , money back guarantee, and 90-day warranty on pre-owned cars. But the guarantee & warra dealership I’ve ever seen. They offer bogus 5-day test drive , money back guarantee, and 90-day warranty on pre-owned cars. But the guarantee & warranty are just to get you purchase the car. Once they get your money, the guarantee/warranty evaporates into the thin air and they will not honor it. They have different tricks they use to allow them to not honor the guarantee/warranty. My experience with AutoNation Ford is long but for the sake of this review, I will give the summary. In July 2021, I went to the dealership to view a 2012 Ford Taurus they advertised for sale. I met the salesman by the name Mo. He told me that the car was not at the dealership but at their service center, for inspection and detailing. He told me that all their cars go through thorough detailing and full inspection by Certified Ford Mechanics before putting it for sale. He offered to take me to the place to view the car. I agreed. After viewing the car, I asked him when it will be ready. He said it will take up to 5 days, but if I pay for the car, they can get it ready the next day. He also told me about their 5-day test-drive, money-back guarantee and 90-day warranty. Next morning (7/30/21), because I couldn’t handle Mr. Mo’s rudeness the previous day, I requested a different sales man. That was when Nikolas Cunningham took over. I paid for the car, and they told me they will call me when the car is ready. They never called. For the next 4 days, they never returned my phone calls or replied to my texts. Finally, the car was ready 4 days later (August 3). I went to pick up the car, but to my greatest surprise, the car was in the same condition it was the first day I viewed it. It was never cleaned or detailed. That made me question if they really did the inspection at all. But Nikolas told me that they did complete inspection on the car. He also told me to bring the car when I have time for them to clean/detail it. He told me to not worry since I have the 5-day test-drive guarantee. On my way home, I noticed that the steering wheel jerked when I applied brakes. Also the windshield wiper was not working. I later took the car to a 3rd party mechanic where they found that the brakes had warped rotors and the pads had only 40% life remaining. On august 5, I sent a text message to Nikolas, the sales man, that I was returning the car the next day August 6 to get my money back. He told me to bring the car on Monday, August 9 and that they will get everything fixed. I reminded him that my 5-day test-drive period ends on August 8, which was a Sunday, and they will be closed. But he talked me into agreeing to bring it on Monday. I didn't realize the trick he was playing about the 5-day test-drive guarantee. He tricked me into this because when I got there on that Monday and asked for my money back, he and his manager, Cody Coffey, told me that my 5-day guarantee had expired. That was when I realized the trick they played. At this point, I didn’t have any choice than to leave the car for them to fix. They kept the car for 2 days. Instead of replacing the brake rotors, they only re-surfaced them. On August 11, I picked up the car. But on my way home, I noticed that the shaking/jerking of the steering wheel had stopped (which was good), but there was loud grinding noise on applying the brakes. At this time, I was already tired of this dealership, and I decided to send it to their service department and use my 90-day warranty. So, on Sept. 2, I took the car to their service center, where Clint Selvey took-in the car, and I gave him my 90-day warranty paper. They kept the car for 7 days. On Sept 9, Clint called and told me that their inspection showed that the car's rear brakes required rotor and pad replacement, and rear suspensions required replacement also. He gave me the price of over $2500 to replace the brakes and suspension. I asked him to use my 90-day warranty for the brakes but refused to honor it, claiming that brakes are not on the list of items covered. I told him that I saw that suspensions are not on the list of covered items but brakes are on the list. I referenced to him where brake component is number 2 on the list, but still he refused to honor the warranty. I went and picked up the car. Next day morning, as I tried to check engine oil on the car, I notice that the car's master cylinder cap was missing. Evidently, their mechanic who did the inspection removed the cap but did not put it back. I had to o to a local auto parts store and bought a new replacement master cylinder cap and washer. My questions to AutoNation Ford Frisco and their staff are: (1) If you really did inspection on the car before putting it up for sale as you claimed, how come you did not find that the brakes needed replacement, windshield wiper system was not working, suspensions needed replacement, but you were quick to find those problems after I paid for the car? (2) How did the car even pass inspection and get inspection sticker with faulty brakes, suspension and windshield wiper system? I will never step foot into AutoNation Ford dealership again, and I will make sure that nobody I know does. More

It was a great experience. The sales person Alex was amazing. Since the car we were looking at (and ultimately bought) had not been delivered and they did not have another one to show us (Explorer ST), amazing. That is what I call going above and beyond. More
