Please do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership. They do not have any ethics at all. I went online and built a Ford Maverick for myself in October 2021. My brother in law who lives in Corpus, was helping me with everything as I was going to be driving in from out of state. So he took my online order to this dealership to submit it. The dealership did not do any work for this sale except print paperwork. We agreed and signed papers on a price and I provided my deposit. I waited 4 months for my order to come in. When it came in they tacked on additional costs which I agreed to pay, though unhappy about it, as we understood it as a fee they had previously taken off before I signed in October. I got the cashiers check and they said they would overnight the paperwork to me to sign and I’d send the check back with it. I got a tracking number but they never actually mailed the paperwork, instead saying they’ll just wait for me to sign when I got into town. In the meantime a survey was sent to my brother in law to complete about his experience with the salesman, Casey. He answered the survey questions honestly about our unhappiness with the additional fee. Apparently Casey got his feelings hurt and told my brother in law he would no longer give me my order because of the survey. There was no trying to rectify the bad survey before declining my sale, they did not try to explain any of our concerns, which if they had, the fees would be more understandable. Casey later told him, he would give it to me if I paid $5,000 more. So clearly it was about greed and not the survey. This was brought to managements attention, David, Brad and Zeke, and nothing was done about it by any of them, they continued to say they would not give me my order. Instead they sold it to someone else, who I’m sure paid the $5,000 more that they tried to get from me. They would not have even had this truck on their lot if it weren’t for me building it and ordering it for myself. To top it off you cannot order the Maverick at this time so I’m not even able to order another one from a dealership with morals. This place is your stereotypical slimy car dealership, all about greed, zero ethics. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They should be ashamed of themselves for how they treat customers. And clearly my brother in law answered the survey correctly… At this point nothing can be done to rectify the situation since they sold the truck but I will make sure I post my review wherever I can so future customers know what kind of people they will be dealing with as well as submit complaints to corporate, BBB, etc. More
I've bought several vehicles from AutoNation and three from AutoNation Ford. The sales team was very knowledgeable and helpful in my decision. I received several mailings and texts regarding the recall repair needed for my vehicle. I called 4 times over the past year to schedule an appointment. The first time I was told that the parts were no recall repair needed for my vehicle. I called 4 times over the past year to schedule an appointment. The first time I was told that the parts were not available and to call back next month. The second time I was told that parts were not available but they would call me when they were. The next two times I was passed to an answering machine promising a call back. I was never called back. Finally decided to stop by in person. As soon as I walked in, Patrick asked how he could help, checked on parts availability and then scheduled my repair for the following week. When I came back for repairs, Patrick got me checked in and then called later in the day to let me know it was ready. Although I was not impressed with trying to call in for an appointment, when I stopped by in person, Patrick provided excellent service. More
Once the problem was figured out and the correct part was ordered, the service department, Cole, and the general manager made sure my vehicle was fixed correctly and in a timely fashion. They offered to bring my car back to me (a three hour drive). They went above and beyond!!! More
