Not sure why, but Autonation Ford went from $10 to $24.99 for a tire rotation. When I asked why, I was told “that’s just our price”. I told the guy I only paid $10 per visit in the past but he acted like h for a tire rotation. When I asked why, I was told “that’s just our price”. I told the guy I only paid $10 per visit in the past but he acted like he didn’t believe me. I have 6 previous receipts that show I was paying $10 per visit for a tire rotation. I would gladly share these receipts with this service department, but one would think they should already know what I was paying before just by looking in their system. Considering I paid $56 for the oil change, which is already more than I would pay at a quick lube place, you would think they would be reasonable on the tire rotation and not increase the rate 150%. Service rep never returned any of my calls. The only call came when he left a message about having some additional work done. Then he never returned my call to give an estimate on the additional work. Needle came when he left a message about having some additional work done. Then he never returned my call to give an estimate on the additional work. Needless to say, I opted out of additional work. They had my vehicle for two weeks to diagnose and replace the fuel pump. The service manager was much more helpful than my service rep. He got me a quote on the original work and got the ball rolling on the repair. When I went to pick my truck up , the bill was $250 over the estimate. In the end the bill was $150 below the original estimate. I assume if I had not said anything, they would have left the charges as they were. More
