I got a recall on my new truck. Letter said call ahead to schedule service time and check parts are available. They gave me options on time and date. I went to get my oil changed. When through I paid and left. Halfway back to my house, 10 minutes after leaving the dealership, I received a text for additional work and a picture When through I paid and left. Halfway back to my house, 10 minutes after leaving the dealership, I received a text for additional work and a picture of my air filter. Had someone walked into the waiting room and told me that it needed changing, rather than a text that I received after leaving the dealership, I would have authorized its' change. Well. What a change from the 1st encounter with AutoNation Ford in Burleson, Tx. The service was "outstanding". I am still reeling. I called in and was asked if I could bring it in that day. I said yes. It was an hour plus drive but it being cold and rainy at times I had no use for it. They took it in. They kept me updated almost daily via "text" mind you. They not only replace the whole mechanism, they changed the oil and gave my baby a bath. Thx AutoNation. You're pretty good ok. More
