In less than fifteen minutes I got another text that it was ready for pick up. When I arrived, the same service advisor handed me the keys and my copy of the work record. I went to the dealership on 3/18 to look at new pickups. I went to the service department to ask about the recall on my company car. The service advisor would not set an appointment for me. He tol;d me to bring it back any day during the week and plan on leaving it. I went back on 3/20. There was only one advisor working and he was on the phone for the 10 minutes I stood there. Another customer told me she had been there for 10 minutes. She gave up and drove off. Another advisor finally showed up and after a few minutes asked how he could help. I explained the recall notice and he had a confused look on his face. After a few minutes of looking up my VIN, he asked me to leave the car with him. He called about an hour later and told me it was not a recall yet, just notification that one was coming and I could come get the car. The service appointment system is badly flawed. The last time I called and tried to schedule, the phones went to a non english speaking country who said they would have my advisor call. After a week, I went to another service center to get the work needed. The lack of service provided by Autonation Burleson helped make my decision to buy a 2023 F150 Lariat at Cleburn Ford. More
