Matt Lewis, the GSM for AutoNation Ford is approachable, personable, professional, informed and exceptional at what he does. I really appreciate his professionalism and positive follow up. The way he communicated with me and his overall treatment of me was very important to my experience. Every dealership has its good and bad. Be informed!!! Know how much you should pay for the vehicle you’re interested in. Know the finance rate before you go. When you get the sell sheet, pay attention! The finance manager is there to upsell because that’s where the money is made! There is absolutely no reason to get anything other than GAP & Extended warranty on a new vehicle. There’s a list at the top of the paperwork! Double check your contract especially if you tell finance to take upsell items off the deal. Extended warranties are typically thru AutoNation-if you want Fords extended warranty-be sure it is. This dealer has great discounts on vehicles used as courtesy vehicles. They have very low miles; however! If it has “scratches” or “damage” that will require paint…. Find another vehicle! Unfortunately, paint is not done in a booth, with correct ventilation. A mobile reconditioning company does the paint under a carport at the dealership. I traded in a nissan, bought an edge, traded it back to dealership, and bought an entirely different vehicle that was not what o set out to buy. Mine was a 3 month ordeal (too much to go in to here) that ended better than I thought possible. The vehicle I that I DID buy and I LOVE; is a gorgeous (sparkly) white 2024 Ford Explorer. I could not be happier with it. Working with Matt Lewis and (Regionals Joel J, Chris R, and Nick S) made it possible. Communication and service after the sale is the weakest link with this dealership. At times, there were 11 people (all managers) on emails; emails that went ignored. Which is why I ended up calling other Ford stores to get Regional Managers & Regional Directors to get involved. The GM not once reached out to me. More

We bought a BRAND NEW 2024 Expedition with 12xx miles on it. 2 days after purchasing it, we had to take it back for a service engine light for an issue with the turbo. They were able to clear the code by hooking it up to the computer. The tech asked my wife, “have you been driving crazy and speeding?” This car should be well equipped to be driven as she drives.. The code is gone for 2 days and now again, for the second time it’s back in the shop for the same service engine problem, as well as reduced engine power. The car has 14xx miles on it, was purchased brand new and has already been in the shop, at Autonation, for the second time. Their service department is almost impossible to get in touch with, via phone, and my wife had to show up there yesterday with her broken car, because no one would return our messages or phone calls. I have no doubt this was a known issue, prior to them selling us the car and it is absolutely ridiculous that we have our brand new vehicle back in the shop, a week after purchasing it for maintenance.
