Had my transmission serviced at auto nation. Stop running at a light they paid for a tow truck. They paid for a f250 rental so I wouldn't loose any of my business. Firmly scheduled service appointment ahead of my arrival. Absolutely no acknowledgement of my arrival on site, and no posted indication telling me where to check 😢 in. Seeming complete abandonment by credible Ford Motor service employees here. Upon my confused unassisted entry into unmarked customer (?) Service center, I witness 3 apparent mail service attendants. Not a one even grants so much as eye contact. After long wait, I catch one's attention and process my service appointment, and am firmly assured that I will be completed within 1 1/2 hrs. After 1:20 hrs, I return to inquire how my Ford Edge is doing, an I am belatedly informed that my car is still 😑 sitting in your parking lot, and hasn't even made it inside yet. Due to my tight schedule, otherwise, I am force to reschedule for another morning, totally wasting time of the one I've just dedicated for service at this seeming indifferent Ford Dealership. More
Once I got the appointment made, it was very easy. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. My problem was making the appointment. I received several emails letting me know that it was time for me to bring my car in; however, I had a terrible problem trying to make my appointment. At first I tried online by clicking the link in the email. One of the links stated that it no longer works. Then I tried calling. The operator answered and transferred me to the Service Department, where it just kept ringing until it went back to the operator. She transferred me back and it happened again. The next time the operator transferred me into a Service Advisory’s voicemail, which stated it was best to send him a text message and he gave his phone number to text. However, he only gave his phone. number once and said it quite quickly. If they are going to give a phone number it should be stated twice and said slowly and clearly. Needless to say, I gave up on making my appointment over the phone. I was going to try once again online. I finally got a link where I had to answer several questions. I could only get so far on the questionnaire and it was like I could get down to the bottom of the screen to go to the next. Because I read all of my emails on my phone, that was what I was using to try and make my appointment. My son told me to try and make it on my IPad. That was when I finally was able to do it online. My suggestion is that you try to make something that can be used on the smartphone to make the appointment. It was very frustrating and I almost gave up, which means I would have gone somewhere else. Again, once I arrived for my appointment, the staff was very efficient and friendly. More
