I have always had a great experience at AutoNation for many years. Not so good this week. I brought my car in for a 40,000 mile checkup and because the engine light was on. I was there 2 1/2 hours almost many years. Not so good this week. I brought my car in for a 40,000 mile checkup and because the engine light was on. I was there 2 1/2 hours almost $500 and the engine light is still on. I have another appointment for next week and they said they might need my car for 3 to 4 days, Not very happy about driving with engine light on. More

Service for recall was fine but 2 days after service, I got another recall letter. I called service manager to see if this was same or different one and had to leave message on voice mail. We desperately needed a vehicle and had to coach the sales person on how to do his job to find us a truck. Every interaction with the service team has been a huge disappointment. After the first visit, I gave them a second chance. One time, its your doing. If it happens a second time, its my doing. That means it won't happen a third time. They couldn't repair a window track that was tacked up with tape. I So Upset with the incompetency. I asked that they look at the rear window and re-tape the plastic track that had come down. It had two types of tape already on the track , which told me that it had fallen down before I bought the vehicle NEW, and I asked that they take the old tape off and put on new and install the window. But they insisted that the whole window had to be replaced and that it was not covered under my extended warranty which was a bunch of bull malarkey. I usually like the service of AutoNation Ford in Bradenton, but now, I'm reconsidering my opinion about them. Prices are very high for a tech and no discounts on the parts. So sad really. More
