Overall a good experience. Car threw a rod on 12/22/21, engine was on national backorder for three months (not dealer's fault). The first service advisor told me that I had to leave my car there for a month to fix the seatbelt. Jaime actually helped! He told me that he would have to order the part, how long it would take and how l car there for a month to fix the seatbelt. Jaime actually helped! I purchased a vehicle and what should have been an easy smooth process turned into a full day-long event. Unannounced to me, AutoNation previously made the decision not to except outside financing. However smooth process turned into a full day-long event. Unannounced to me, AutoNation previously made the decision not to except outside financing. However, I insisted on using my credit union which I’ve been with for years. They made the entire process extremely difficult very time consuming. I previously researched the vehicle. All I wanted to do on arrival was look at it, test drive it, pay for it and leave. Long story short, I gave them a cashiers check for the full amount of the vehicle and decided to pay the TTL out of pocket. They made it very clear that they were not happy with me as a customer but would make an exception and accept payment for the vehicle. Really? They presented it as though they would do it me a favor to sell me the car. The only reason why I did not walk away, is I really wanted that particular vehicle. They proved to me what I’ve thought now for sometime, customer service is a dying art. More
